I received a call from a man stating that i wa being sued and that i need to talk with someone else concering my case and that if i didnt responed i could b in some trouble

Did it sound like a text to voice sound? thats what it sounds like to me same exact thing saying that i or my attorney need to contact them. Tried calling it back but was unable to get through just rings and rings. Says the name is James Waters. Gotta love google voice for transcribing messages :) Sonoma, CA number. umm what else can we include oh yeah im reporting the number to the fraud thing as soon as I can. I suggest that anyone else do the same.

they must be changing there tactics or maybe he just liked my voice because I got a call at work from "Jack Williams" he was hitting on me. Wanted me to hook him up with girls because I turned him down. Asked for my last name and cell number but I didn't give him either. It was the same number as the one that yall say called you 1-209-396-6904 with the middle east accent. The guy said he was 22. The second time he called my work I told him I couldn't discuss anything not related to business with him and he said ok I love you and I hung up. Hopefully he quits calling, but Im glad to know its some random scammer not a stocker!

Received a phone call at my home for my husband. The person claims his name was 'John Blew' and he was an attorney (I made him spell it). He claimed something about my husband and his social Security #. I asked him what agency he was calling from/who he was representing and he said 'C Williams and Associates' at least that's what I deciphered-His Indian accent was so thick! I used reverse phone look-up and found this forum-I'm glad I did! What a joke! If he or anyone dares to call back I won't be so lady like!

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM JAMES WARNER PH# 209-396-6904 TODAY!!! I'M VERY "P' OED". THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS YEAR THESE DUMB A**ES TRIED THIS SCAM ON ME. OF COURSE THE FIRST TIME I WAS SCARED AS HELL, BUT THESE GUYS NEED TO BE CAUGHT!! HE DID HAVE A HEAVY ACCENT, AND I THINK HE SAID HE WAS CALLING FROM "CIVILIANS AND ASSOCIATES LAW OFFICE". HE SAID HE WOULD BE VERY SORRY FOR ME IF I DISREGARD HIS CALL TO COLLECT THE MONEY FOR MY DEBT I DON'T WANT TO PAY BACK. WELL, I CURSED HIM OUT LOW LIKE A DOG, AND TOLD HIM HE BETTER NEVER CALL MY PHONE AGAIN AND I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB AND FTC. CONCLUSION, HE HUNG UP! LOL.

They just called my job.  At first it was my cellphone and then my work phone.  They said I had committed a federal bank fraud offense and check kiting and all sorts of other stuff.   They said they would file papers again me immeidatly.   I told them to Bring it on, Hodgie!

GETTING HARRASSING CALLS AT MY WORKPLACE. FROM MIDDLE EASTERNERS SAYING THAT I AM IN SERIOUS TROUBLE

I have been getting calls today saying i owe money 565.65 but if i dont pay today it will be 6000 dollars i dont know what to do i asked him for details he said he had an affidavte and started rerad abpout something i could barely understand him i called back and ask for the exact amount he wouldnt give it to me so i need some help on this issue

Ok Hogy called me again! Put me on hold to his boss. His boss then told me my ssn address and where i work. He told me i needed to send him $498 by the end of today for all of this to go away. I told him that in order to have owed any money i would have had to first take money. He hung up on me. But this time I called Hogy back!
I told him to stop harassing me and to take my name and number off of his scam to do list. He then asked my name and i said stephanie. He said my last name before I could!  I want to sue these people for harassment and verbal abuse! Hogy calls again he is in for it I am recording the whole thing and posting it here and other places. I will keep posting till it stops.

its a scam. disregard it. I received these same calls over 2 months ago and was scared shitless... I was even dumb enough to send them money because I freaked out. Then when I finally calmed down, I realized it was all a scam. They keep calling me and I keep ignoring them. They just called me 15 minutes ago and i seriously have 18 missed calls. seriously? they are telling me that this is my final call and that the are tired of me trying to play games with them. I can care less because I know for a fact that I havent gotten any loan, besides, they dont have proof of anything, if not i would have received someting already. So just relax and disregard these people :)

I'm so sorry ^^^^ didn't read the watch your mouth till i submitted it. I am just so upset that anyone could do this to other people. I'm so worried about the elderly right now! I hope they wont fall for it.

I didn't catch the guys name who called me, But he told me i was being sued for theft by deception, Never been so scared in my life! When I asked who in the hell was sewing me he said you have to talk to my boss. Gave me this number 209-396-6904 to reach him. After putting me on "hold" i swear he just sat the phone down on the desk. he said call him in 2 mins and he will talk to you. He didn't ask me for much info but I also wasn't giving him any neither. I'm not calling the number back no way, so here is my little message for Hogy (Yes i nicknamed the jerk!)

"WTF Hogy or whatever ur name is, FU! Do u even know the laws in America serve me & ill show up to court + they wouldn't be begging me for my info (address ect..) Oh Hogy if that is ur real name (lol) Dont try to f*** with Americans we are some crazy a**'s who don't respond well to threats!! AND We know the power of google!!! BUSTED"

Note to self and other self's: NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON PHONE OR ON WEB!!! NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE FOR MONEY!!!!!

That happened to me also with sam petterson, he left the same message for me. I called back and refused to give him any information and he just keep saying you will be sorry. I can help you settle out of court for 598 dollars because your court fees will be about 2000 dollars. When I said to send me paper work about the debt he said see you in court

Yes I recieved the same call and I would not give them any information and he said the police would be out to pick me up at work or home. I asked what creditor were they calling for and he said you will get the information when the paper work is served and then he hung up. I think this is the same person calling but using different numbers. Never give out any information on the phone. They are suppose to send you proof within five buisness days of your debt

They have called my house leaving threatening messages and using out of the area and unknown numbers. When I called back after many many rings someone answered with an east Indian accent and when i asked where i called he hung up. I called back and got the user at ext... is not available then immediately states that the mailbox. Im waiting for them B***** to call back. I have told them off before and now they keep calling.

Yes it was an east Indian man with a bad connection like it was coming from over seas.. with an American name.

I have been receiving these calls since last summer saying they will take me to court within 24-48 hours if I do not respond. I called the number and the guy I spoke to tried to scare me into giving him my debit card information with the 3 digit security # on the back,  to pay 1.849.23 yeah right! I told him to stop caling me or send me the information, then he asked for my address, I hung up, he called back, I hung up again, he called back threatened to call my employer and told me I would be fired, to this day I still get calls, I will not repeat what I say, but he will not give up......

I received phone call from a Jeff Marshall, C. Williams and Assoc. attorneys stating I had a loan that I did not pay. Wouldn't give me any details, very threatening.  I do not have a loan out at all, this guy could not speak english, and said he was going to contact local police. Instructed my office to not give me any calls from this guy. I would like to go on record as saying this is fraud, he knows all my personal information.

I got a phone call from this number.  Called back and the Sam Patterson told me that he was an attorney and that i had taken a payday loan out prior to Sept 2010.  Not true.   He said they are suing me for it and that they have tried to reach me several times.  I am going to call my cell company and block the number.  My home phone will be blocked too.  This is a new one on me.  Leave it to criminals to ruin a perfectly  cloudy day.  LOL    I always check numbers that call me to see where they come from and I will continue to do so.  Also when I tried calling back after the first call, the line is busy.

I totally agree with you! I was angry that I felt threated. I wanted to call him back and tell him to screw off, but I figured I'd check to make sure it wasn't something major. A Sam Peterson called me today and told me that I better not ignore the phone call or what "the issue unfolds for me" would be much worse. I had to listen to it at least two times because at first I couldn't stop laughing. I got a little worried afterwards but realized it was a Cali number and I live in TN. Do they not know about internet search engines??? Geez!

omg!!! i talked to john blue today. i just got that call today. this was the worse day of my life! i have never been so freakin scared in all my life. 209-396-6904 i could not understand him, and he was very mean and rude and disrespectful. he said i could pay1985.45 right now or go to jail or court would cost me 9000 dollars. everytime i asked him who do i owe this money too, he only talked about the 1985.45  he went back to how ya gonna pay it. told him i was getting an attorney, then he called back with a case #  how can i pay 1985.45 when i  NEVER GOT THE MONEY FROM ANYWHERE. thankyou for letting me know that this is a scam. i'm calling my phone company and reporting him. this has to stop. i'll never apply for a loan online again. ps: i never even got a loan of any kind.lol i reposted this here, hoping the FBI gets these people!!!! i'm looking into this further, because i want justice done.
