I got a call from this same number only my caller ID said "CA Police YC" I also would like to know who this is??

me too. what is this ? is this a scam. because they are soliciting for a children's foundation i"m not sure. is this really a california police number?

Its the California Police Youth Commision Fundraising #. They called me at 8:57pm on 6/24/09. I'm ornery, so I called back. The office is out of Stockton. They are just asking for donations. Irritating about the time of the call though.

Got call tonight answered it they hung up.

I got this call twice tonight
I requested them to take my number of the calling list 3 times..
and still get the call.....

Plus they call me at 9pm today,
isn't it tooo late to call for donation?!?!

Called today and left message saying "Sorry missed you this is  TSI on behalf of a non profit209 ..."

Called at 3:55pm PST on 3/2/2009 hung up after the machine picked up. Caller ID said "CPYC".

I GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT LEAST ONCE A DAY AND THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NO CALL LIST?

Just got a call form them..11:35am 8-1-09. I answered but they hung up on me.

I am vietnamese. They called my house and spoke to my mom. She told them she didn't speak english very well and they told her she was lying!!! red flag number one right there. they asked her to make a donation over the phone and she said she would, but she would like to see something in writing first. they still tried to push her into making a donation, but she refused until she saw in the mail. Whoever she spoke to even passed the phone along to a "supervisor" to verify the information she was being told. Thank god my mom didn't give them any info. They hung up and when my mom called them back, there was no answer, just that stupid voicemail. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING IF THEY CALL YOU!!!

Got a call from this number just a few minutes ago, picked up the phone and they hung up.  Tried calling the number back and it was busy.

They hung up.  I checked on the internet and low and behold they are being sued by the state of California.

I got one! I didnt answer but I called back and got the voice mail. I think it said it had something to do with fundraiser.

just got the call, answered, it was silent. This is the second time I have gotten this.

I got a call from CPYC.  I answered, the caller hung up....annoying :-(

Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer and they left no message.

Call came in around 7:30pm Monday 3/30/09.. Let the machine get it. Didn't leave a message
