who is this

This lady called me and left a desturbing message on my voice mail. She was explaning to me that I needed to call her back as soon as I received the message because legal actions would be taken our on me if I didnt. The number she called from is 209-243-0104. Since then I called back and this guy answers. He explains to me that I had taken out a $200 payday loan with his company and I didnt return the payment. I have never had a loan taken out im my life. I havent even had to borrow money from a bank of anything of that manner. This guy was rude and told me that he was trying to help me with the information that he was giving me but he never could say where his company was. He told me that I took the loan out in November of 2010 which was a lie. He also lied and told me that the last 4 of my account number was something that is was not by far. This is a scam and I plan to take legal actions upon him.

This just happened to me and it has me scared! He says his name is Kevein Johnson and that lgal action will be taken.

keeps calling called 3 times in 5 min.

Today is the second series I have received in the past 3 months but the first was from the New York area. The first time they would just continue to call and hang up. I generally don't answer calls from unknown numbers and let my voicemail handle it. Who knows if that is how they got my name... I got into it with "Johnny" and he said I was being sued but didn't know by who... I said he should send me something in the mail and then I said don't call again and hung up. They stopped calling.

This time it is actually from an area code where I know people, so I had to call back and see who was calling and when I heard all the talking in the background and "How May I Help You" from an Indian man, I hung up. This time "Reggie Johnson" left a message after about 5 calls and hang ups and said to get my attorney to call them and I was being sued. It's definitely a scam.

Received a call from 209-563-4219 from "Erik Johnson" stating to have me or my attorney call him about a lawsuit for a loan advance.  Called and spoke with a "Kevin Johnson", he wanted me to confirm my info, I refused.  He said he is with "Law office of James Anderson" in San Francisco CA but would not give me an actual address.  He said I took a loan advance out in November 2010, I told him I never had a loan in 2010, asked him the name of the loan company and he said "Group Associates of Cash Advance", asked him for their phone # and he said its "his company" and I am speaking with him.  Was very rude and said the end of my routing number for the loan is 20022...LIE...not my end routing number.  Said the amount was $250...LIE..never had a loan for that.  Would not give me any more info about the "company" and would not answer my questions.  Was a d-bag and talked over me telling me they will find me and send me court papers, I cannot run.  Also stated good luck as this unfolds for you.  SCAM SCAM SCAM

this guy called me at my work and telling legal action is being takin against me and if i do not resolve it now, i will lose my job, it will go on my credit history. and so on, and so on. i left work early to come home and talk to them and now the number is not working!!!!!!

It's a total scam, I call them back and harass them and it's really funny. I also post the num. on my facebook page and have all my friends do the same thing.

I get the same calls. It's a scam ! I get them back by calling all day and harass the guy. You can tell it's a scam as soon as you stand up to them.

I have bee gettng calls from the same Indian man saying he is from a Law Firm his name one day was john, next it was Mike Walker an officer he said dought that very much, than an indian woman called same s***, they said I was going to be sued

I just received this same call from Kevin Johnson stating i owed for a pay day loan. And i was being sued.That they didnt want no money just wanted to know why i havent paid. I got mad and said if i am being sued i will see whoever in court.He then stated he would sue me personally for harrassing him. I told him go ahead. I asked to speak with his supervisor so i can clear this up. He said he was the supervisor. I wanted to know who the Ceo  of the company was he would not tell me. I then had a friend of mine tell him to leave me alone or he would come to his job and wait for him outside.Now he gonna sue us both lol

They left a message on my husbands cell phone, for a Kevin, his name is Matt, at the end of the message after they asked for a call back or they wished us "good luck as this situation unfolds on you" He had a thick indian accent and was obviously reading from a script, my husbands called them back multiple times and they continued to hang up or repeat they were looking for a Kevin...SCAM!!

This Indian accent guy called me and said his name was Kevin johnson and I owe 250.00 in payday loans. This D****head claimed to be a attorney and threaten to file criminal charges. Then he said I owed this over a year ago. This d****ead also told me if I pay him $600.00 it will go away. I let him talk his scam. Then I replied and said indian's dont have names such as Kevin Johnson. I told him his name is probably shaboo and calling from the back  of his quicki-mart store. I told him to change his slurpree machine s*** my **** f*** you and have a nice day you f****ng loser!

I think this is harassment and these people should be prosecuted.  They are  telling me that  I  owe  money  for  a  payday loan that  I did  not  receive.  They are telling me their going to send federal agents to my job. Their telling me this is a law firm in California and so on. I find it very funny that they only call early in the morning.  So  what  I did today I waited until about  11am and called  them back  and   this  same guy answer  the phone "hello", no hello this is  the  law firm of  whomever he just said hello. This is ridicules that these people can do this and get away with it.  I would like for these calls and e-mails to stop.

I just received a call from 209-563-4219 minutes ago.  The man on the other end had a thick Indian accent.  Thankfully, we had a poor connection (for whatever reason) and the line disconnected.  He called back, after I had turned off the ringer on my phone, and during that time I found the information others reported regarding receipt of calls from this number.  A few weeks ago I had received a call from probably the same individual.  He was rude and condescending, which made me chuckle, which in turn made him more angry.  I know that I pay my bills and I will not tolerate threats and insults agains me by a complete stranger to whom I owe nothing.  Still, it's a bit intimidating.

I received a call from 209-563-4219 today.  It was a Phillipino woman who couldn't speak clear English.  She claimed to be a paralegal for James Parker in Los Angeles.  She told me I was being sued but couldn't tell me who was suing me.  She gave me this number to call and speak with a Kevin Johnson.  I informed her it was against the law to call me regarding a lawsuit and that she had to send it to me by mail.  For a paralegal, she wasn't very aware of the law.  The number she gave me to call isn't listed to any attorney's office and it can't accept messages because it's mail box is full.

Yeah i got that phone call this morning and i immediately called my local police dept about it..Its a scam but i did change my bank info and got triple alert identity theft placed on my accounts.

Got a call from these folks this morning and didn't answer it. I have spoken to them before and same thing, thick Indian accent and not a lot of information. They were rude and kept hanging up on me when I would ask for more information telling me that I either pay up or they go to court. The first time they called they actually left a message saying that I would be receiving a police report in the mail from them suing me for fraud over a pay day loan...no information given. No information ever sent out. When I asked them to send me the documentation or tell me the company or anything they would just keep saying 'so you want this to go to court then?'.  Stupid scam is all it is. Don't let them scare you out of money.

I got a phone call from this exact same number this morning and the Indian guy was very rude. They said that i was being sued b/c i got a pay day loan. I called the police and theyre investigating these jerks.

Same thing here, told me I was being sued.. I actually put my attorney on the phon, they asked his name and then told him he was also being sued.. These guys are very very horrible scam artists. I could have ran a better business in elementary school

Got a message from some man with an Indian accent also.  Said the same thing about me being sued and my attorney needed to contact them.  Called back a million times to tell them to stop calling my phone and noone ever answered.

Got several phone calls from this #, over a period of 3 weeks. I finally returned one and asked what they were about.
Said it was a law firm and i was being sued , when asked by who they said,"YOU DONT KNOW".
I asked for their address and the Indian accented man told me to have a good day and hung up!!!

I got a call from this number twice this morning and the first time they left a message. It's some guy with a think Indian accent telling me or my attorney of record to call. As soon as I heard that I deleted the message because this is the same scam that almost got me last month. They claim you are being sued for a payday loan and somehow know your address and where you work and you have to pay up quick to stop the case from going to court. They'll never send out any documentation because it's a scam and are very rude. Don't be scared of them if they call. Ask them to send you the information again and again and they get nasty with you because of course they hate being caught out.
