I too had an unauthorized charge yesterday from thelilacvalley.com.  their customer service number (209)779-5640 gets you a recording with a barely understandable foreign-sounding voice which tells you the customer service line is presently unavailable.

I called the customer service number and left a nasty message.  My GF got scammed.  How does this crap happen ?  I love FB, but this is the stuff that can happen.  They release and divulge TOO MUCH INFORMATION !!!

I was charged for $4.70 and don't know what t do from here. the credit card company told me to call that phone number but nothing on their side. what are guys going to do?

We also had a charge for $4.70 show up on our credit card on the same day as a purchase made from Amazon . I called the Lilac Valley .com phone number and got the exact same response, a recording with an unusual almost unintelligible accent, saying no customer service reps were available and to call back another time. I called our bank card company and they are reporting this to the FTC and sending us a new credit card.

I was charged $1.70 on April 29, from an account I haven't used in 3 months. I checked out Ripoff Reports and didn't find anything.  Called the number and got a recording. Wish I could find an address.

Also was billed on my bank statement for $4.70. Checked out company on google and discovered it was a scam but can't figure out how they got my bank account numbers either.  Called the support team at Lilac valley after emailing them.  Yes, someone spoke unintelligently on the phone on a voice message.  No live person.  Called my bank and was shifted to the Lost Management department who will send me an affidavit to be returned so the money can be taken off my account and I will receive a new card.  What a scare and a hassle.  Want to know how they got my numbers.  I have not dealt with Amazon recently but my husband has and we do have a joint account but two different banks which still doesn't make sense. Hope we can figure this on out soon!!!! They do need to be called to justice.

$4.70 charge from lilac valley....   I have made no 3rd party amazon purchases recently.  How about facebook or farmville?  Do you people also play online games?  Hopefully we can find the source.  Did y'all click on a screensaver popup recently? I did a search for lilac valley and one of the hits was a screensaver place.

I was just balancing my checkbook and found the same thing.  Called and emailed, no answer from either.  Called my bank, canceled my credit card and got the charge reversed.  Only thing is, I have not used Amazon like the other people on here but did order from a florist I have used in the past in a different state than I am in.  Guess we should all be more careful and only use paypal or something like that. Makes me mad as ..... that this can happen though.

I also just received a 7.70 charge on my credit card.  Googled the number and found this forum re lilacvalley.  I hardly ever use this card.  Last time was to pay a restoration fee to the state of nj motor vehicle for my son's driver's license in February.  There was a credit card convenience fee added and paid to a separate entity referred to as OPAY in California (of all places... hmmm same locale as LilacValley).  Regarding Amazon, I last used this card to make a purchase long ago back in November of 2008!  I'm just going to call the bank and report the fraud and get a new number.

Well after a lot of badgering on my part, they finally credited my $4.70 back.  I have asked Amazon to look into this.  If you think you were also caught by Lilac Valley while purchasing from a third party on Amazon please let Amazon know.

Same story. $4.70 charge posted on 4/20 from thelilacvalley.com. Purchased  vitamins through Amazon third party vendor on 4/15. Amazon is definitely the security breach.

I just got a charge for $4.70 on my bank account.  It hasn't posted yet, so I have to call my bank back tomorrow.  I have called thelilacvalley number numerous times and left messages demanding they not post the charge.  Anybody want to share where they've been shopping online lately?  Might be a link.  I most recently bought some Wiggles cards from a vendor on Amazon.com.

Also I'm trying to find out how they got my number.  I had just done some internet buying with REI, Campmore and a third party seller on Amazon.  I'm wondering if anyone of them are responsible.  Anyone else recently due business with the above just prior to the charges showing up?
