i got called a bunch of times and i answered today and thye said i had won a 100$ gift card that they just needed my credit card number and i gave it to them. after reading all the comments of the scams, i just called to have my card cancelled.

OMG!! I just received this call and he told me the same thing, he is an employee at walmart and I won $100 for being a good customer. He mentioned my house address and I kinda believed him, but when he asked me to pay for the shipping I got suspicious. I told him I don't have a credit card, he said in my  purchase in January I  had debt card that I  used when I never did. So I told him I don't have any credit or debt only my dad's and it's not with me. He said he will call me back and I took his name and ID (thank god I did) because if I didn't I wouldn't be to search him and read what I just read now. Advice to everyone never never never give any of your personal info to anyone you don't know. But I really wonder how do they get all this info about us such as number, address, and many other information.

This number has called 20 times a day, and each time I yell at them or say something nasty, but they keep calling. How do I stop getting calls from a number? they are calling my cell.

I am not answering the call from this number   They call 3 or 4 times a day.

I git the same call from some Indian telling me that i won a Walmart $100 gift card, that i will receive it in about a week, to activate it i will pay $2.98, he requested my credit card number that i did not give to him, please help identify this guy

he gave me his name but u need to call the bank this person takes money out of your account.

This same phone number is call me at all hours of the day and night I thought temarketer or solisitor can only call during bissness hours. I just don't answer them and then I just look them up to see who has called.

I get two or three calls every day - on cell phone, but they don't come through

Jack called. took forever before he answered and he was wasting time.  I said it's early, hurry this call up.  He said it's 9 am what happened.  I said what are you calling for, hurry up this call.  He never would say what he was calling for so I finally said don't ever call me again.  I called the number back and entered to have my number removed.  The automated system said it would take 72 hours.  This was very weird and see that I guess I'm lucky not to have heard more.

I got the same call and got offer the same gift. He had my address though.
That's scary. Did he tell you he wasn't going to ask about the security number in the back?

The same thing happens to me today, they called me but I gave them my bank account number. If they steal my money, am gonna arrest them all.

Same phone number today. I got a call from Joel something (can't remember the last name), he also said i won $100 to walmart. When he said i needed to pay around $4 for shipping and handling, i hanged up. He called again but i didn't answer. I thought it was a Mexican but now that i think about it I think it was an Indian male because he had an ascent and he had bad pronunciation with words. I am worried as to how they have my number...

My wife has been getting calls from this number constantly and last night she answered it just to tell them to stop calling. When she did that, the jack*** on the other end of the line started making all kinds of noises and acting like an idiot. Just Google the do not call registry and add your cell # to that list. You have to confirm via E-mail. Then if they call you can report them and I believe the fine is about $10,000.

This number called me at 8:47, 9:32, 10:18, 11:26, and 1:57. I've ignored all the calls but I'm sick of it!

they called me a couple times also. i told them to take me off their call list and they STILL continue to call. so i asked to speak to a supervisor (also indian)  and yelled at her and the guy for not taking my number off. i threaten them that if they call one more time, that i will have to take future action and have someone investigate on where they are calling and sue them for harassment. :]

if they want to give me a $100 for walmart then sent it over, dont ask me to pay for S&H, how heavy is the card that i have to pay about $4 for it to be send?

Called me at 7AM central, said my number was chosen foe a $100 gift card. Told them no thanks and hung up. Called again same day at 12:45. I heard a lot of noise in the back ground but no one replied. I'm getting rather annoyed....I work the night shift and am leaving my phone on in anticipation of an important call.
I'm calling the Iowa General Attorneys Office right now.

I called the Iowa Attorney General and left a message with an investigator. When I called 215-383-9751  I got a recorded message stating I had reached a telemarketer and to press 1 to be taken off their list and 2 to speak to a person. I almost had my # removed via option 1 but figured they would exploit that somehow even though they obviously have my number already.
I'll just go get a new phone number for $30 and be more careful to whom I give it to.

They have called 4 times a day!  First they wanted my debit card number - 20.99 would take me off their call list.  When I said no they offered me a 100.00 gift card and they would take me off the call list for 2.99.  FRAUD - don't give them anything.

Called three times on wifes cell line.1st time asked for info to varify "info". Asked to taken off their call list. Refused and kept asking to verify "info". Caller named Alex spoke in broken middle eastern english - extremely rude and refused to verify request to get on the do not call list. Alex called immediately after wife hung up on him and didn't want to talk to me.
