Got a call didn't answer. No VM. Re: Microsoft comments. I find this interesting because of the timing. I normally use my PC daily but haven't for the last few days. Is it possible someone hacked in and was aware I wasn't using my PC?

Just something coincidental likely but if anyone has any insight that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, an Asian man said he was "Jeff  from MD Hotline", and I said "Who ?"  and he hung up.

I keep receiving phone calls from 210-000-0000. I want them to stop. I've requested they stop.

I love it!!  So tired of all the scam calls.  Get them every day.  This number called at 11:49 today.  CID says 'Texas Call'.  Got another call at 12:04 from 315-000-0000, no msg, CID says 'New York Call'.  Huh?!  Maybe I'll try your idea and have some fun with it!

When they start talking, whisper in the phone, "It's done, It's done, but there's blood everywhere!" then hangup. Or you can do a *60. (At least for my phone service) put in their number, and block the number.

every week, at least 2x per week.  Obviously it's not a real number , AC 210 followed by all zeros....

This phone number 210-000-0000 my caller id says: No Name Found has been calling me about once or twice a week now for 6 mos. so I finally answered it.  She asked for me by name...???!!!  I asked who this was?  She said Jenna.  I asked what company is she with??   Jenna said MD Website.   (She is so full of it!!)    I said I am on the no call list to not call this phone number back again!!!   She said what???!   I asked if she can speak English?  Jenna said yes.   I advised her to take me permanently off her call out list to never call this phone number every again there is no reason for her to call this phone number except for aggravation.  Reporting this phone # to FCC!!!!   This has to be a scam phone number to have so many zeros and caller id doesn't identify.  

Could hardly understand what the woman was saying. She was talking about some promotional offer with compensation? I then asked how they obtained my number, she said something else I didnt understand and immediately started talking about the offer again.

Actually they are scamming for much higher fee's then that in most all of the threads I've read. Usually it starts out high and then they will lower it to make you think they are giving you a good deal. And yes, they take control of peoples computers and have been known to disconnect their antivirus software, load virus's and in a few cases have loaded a bad virus that has locked people's computers up period.

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

They call us about twice per week for the last month, I knew what it was about because my husband works in IT and hears about these scams all the time. They tell you something's wrong and for $40 they will fix it. You pay, nothing happens and you're out $40 - I have not heard however of additional charges to people who have fallen for this scam.

The easiest way to get them to stop calling you?

Answer the call, and when they tell you they're calling from Microsoft about your windows computer. Respond that you find that very interesting because you have an android tablet and chromebook (neither of which use any microsoft products) they kind of freak out and hang up - they've also never called us again.

Answered this one today, after one previous missed call. There was no ID, just a woman speaking Spanish and giggling. I asked who it was twice and got disconnected. Pathetic...

Said she was from Microsoft and someone had my computers number and was stealing my info. Microsoft had sent me 500 warnings, she said. she wanted me to press ctrl/ the windows button and the letter R to show if someone was messing with my computer at this time... ( what does that do ? ). I told her I would need a number to call back and make sure she was with Microsoft. the number she gave was 1-800-986-4762 ... whatever

I got a call from these folks.  Said that something was wrong with my Windows.  I asked him which computer (I have 4 in my house) he kept saying Windows.  I have four computers in my house with Windows.  Which one?  We went through this several times and finally he said my Dell computer.  I told him I don't have a Dell.  He called me a liar and hung up.  Sometimes you can have a little fun with these guys if you have the time and patience.

I just got a call from that number didn't answser the phone  So it went to my answering machine.and a male voice on the other end said hello? twice.  And 2 loud beeping tones in betweens the hellos..

they called and   asked  is this mike I said who is this they hung up I called the number 210 000 0000  back and it said the number u have called is invalid ?   the person sounded  foreign???????????????????

This number minus the 21 has called me repeatedly today. One lady said she was calling about my computer and I sad there is nothing wrong with my computer and hung up. The second caller was with an indian accent saying he was a technical person and needed access to my computer. I said there is nothing wrong with my computer and they were scammers. I said do not call again. So far they haven't .

live in Ma.  just got a call from this number.  Didn't answer it.  Have been getting a lot of unwanted calls like this lately...so what's the point in being on the Do Not Call list?  

Got a call from them today...did not answer!!  In fact I have gotten 5 calls today from "unknown" numbers.  I have stopped answering the phone unless it is a known caller!  Be careful out there everybody and do not trust any of these calls!!!

I got a call from this number a couple weeks ago.   An Asian man asked for me by name.   Wanted to know about any computers or laptops I use.  I told them it was none of their business & asked them to remove me from their calling list.   The Asian man got furious, yelled, said this is the first time I've called.  I hung up.   Just received another call from an Asian woman asking for me by name.......I responded by asking "who's calling" she hung up.
