Got a call from 210-249-8807 claiming she was from the state of Illinois
office of development and asking if "we were still moving", I asked how did she know we were moving, and also asked for her for a phone number to call back since she's from the state and she didn't want to give me one said
she didn't have access to one.
if you get a call from them....JUST HANG UP....

I got this call today and the same Philippino lady said she was calling from the Province of Ontario Business Development office.  She said she was notified that our businesslocation was moving.  I said I didn't think so and described our location is in a plaza.  I was very confused and kept asking her where she was calling from and where she got her information.. she said she was likely mistaken  about this call.  Weird.  Don't give them any info!

she calls us about once a month, we have caller id so we know what to expect, we have become very resiliant with this lady.  Last time she called I made sure to make her as mad as she has made me.  Upon picking up the phone to a pissed off sounding "this is the california state development agency, is your office still moving...blah blah blah" I told her to hold, i placed her on hold for about 5 minutes until I had a collegue pickup the phone to ask her who she was holding for, again he put her on hold but this time for about 10 minutes, I couldnt believe she was actually waiting, hahahaha.... i picked up the phone and politly said "thanks for holding", at this point she was pissed and said she was going to file a complaint for my business under the state of california, i told her to eat s*** and f&ck off, I don't think she will be calling us again any time soon.

Accented woman called from 210-249-8807 caller ID Angie Hopes 210-249-8807, (telemarketer sounds in the background) said from California Business Development Office and are you still planning on moving; played dumb Q&A she said someone called my office last week and said we were planning to move and she was following up on it; confirmed she claimed to be from an actual state government office (she called on Columbus Day - right); boss already left for the day (3:00pm - well maybe a gov't office :) ) grew testy with my questions and said just tell me if you're still going to move; asked her for her phone number and address - she actually gave me some info which follow up showed to belong to uninvolved third parties - ph # to a residence and address to a long established pet food store. When I told her I wasnt going to answer her questions and to take my # off her list, she said she would if I would tell her if I was going to move this year; when I told her to take my number off her list again, she hung up. Really intent on learning about an imaginary move - whatever could be so interesting about people moving their offices?

That same woman calls my office all the time, sometimes from this number and sometimes from 210 249 8805. She says that she works for the british columbia business office. She wants to know if we are still planning to move. I get very irritated with her and ask her to stop calling. When I say we are not planning to move, she asks me repeatedly if I'm sure. Then asks to speak to my boss.

She said her name was "Kelly"

The same thing - caller asks if we are moving or planning to in the near future and identifying themselves as working for the State of California.

got a call from this phone number 210-249-8807 the woman with a philipino accent said her name was "Ruby" and she claimed to be calling from the State Development office and said that our local chamber of commerce reported that our office was moving.   She just wanted to know if we were at a certain listed address.

I think this is a trick to confirm your address for their database, which they probably sell to companies.  
If you don't want to participate, you should not confirm or deny anything they say, just hang up and tell them you can not speak with them because they do not have a scheduled appointment, and if she tries to get one, tell her that you are not authorized to participate in her survey.

This # calls with various Pillipino accented people, they ask for company information and now are stating that they are with the state of Califonia's business office, when you ask them for a phone number they hang up--be careful with these guy
