It's At&t wanting to sell high speed Internet. I answered the call and said that I wasn't interested, I hope they will stop calling now.

Frequent calls from this number without anyone on the line.  the number seems to be regisered to ATT customer service.  What a laugh!

What happened to the DO NOT CALL program?

Just got land-line middle of July & lately have received numerous call from 210-331-5171, either comes up as 'Private' or 'West'.  They call from 3 to 6 times a day, but won't leave a message.  From the other comments on this site, I gather this is an affiliate of AT&T selling high speed Internet.  My don't buy ANYTHING over the phone, and want these calls to stop.  My phone number has been listed on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, and I will file a complaint through them if these calls don't stop!

Mother in law was getting these calls constantly. I called the number..It's AT&T and when I verified her phone number and how it was listed, they are to remove her from their listing.  Hope this helps anyone else and hope they don't call back..

Keep getting calls from this number.  It comes up as West or Private Caller.  Want the calls to stop!

get call from West - (210) 331-5171. They call 5-6 times per day. I finally answered and no own spoke and they hung up. Everyone on the net states it is an AT & T Telemarketer selling internet service. AT & T said they have no idea that someone is misrepresenting them. You cannot reach or find a alternate number for West. Someone is not being truthful. I would think ATT would be extremely concerned if someone was pretending to be from their company when they really were not from ATT.

I have been receiving call from 210-331-5171 3-5 times per day for weeks.  After determining that this is an AT&T solicitation call, I contacted AT&T and asked that they no longer call me.  They put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST.  The number to call is 1-888-757-6500.  Ironically, after they had put me on the DO NOT CALL list they wanted to "talk to me about upgrading me AT&T service.  These people are unbelieveable.  I am just waiting to see if they call again

This number calls daily, multiple times. We have let it ring without answering many times. We just answered it about 5 minutes ago and they immediately hung up.

They call 3 or more times a day. Private company selling ATT services. If you have ANY service with ATT they are kind of excempte from the do not call list. Even after you tell them not to call again they continue for weeks! Then silence for a while and, voila, then calls agin BUT they change the caller ID (same area code)...

Do you have AT&T and I am going to cancel them if they can't stop these stupids calls. What gets me is you can't use call blocker to stop them.

Want to sale me AT&T stuff.

Same as the other posts here. They call several times a day, every day. It's a shame that they can get through a loophole in the no call law.

Don't answer - these are AT&T telemarketers who are somehow protected by the do-not-call law.  If you answer, some foreign sounding person will try to talk you into upgrading your telephone service.  They seem to hire those who cannot speak very good English so it's best to just let it ring and they will eventually stop - for a while.

They keep calling: AT&T is a bunch of greedy idiots where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

Did not recognize the number. Just looked on the caller ID and saw the name "West". This number comes up a lot on the caller ID. We know no one from this 210 area code.

called the number back and got recording that it is an authorized AT&T vendor.
