I don't understand why UTSA caller won't leave a message.

UTSA starting their s*** again. I graduated 10 years ago and this is why I never join their association. I answer the phone and they just hang up.

I never went to this college or school you speak of, and I have no money, so no idea why they are calling me... But it's really annoying.

This person calls me way to much i am getting pissed off i wish whoever it is would leave me the hell alone

i graduated from texas a&m and have received calls from this number since moving back to san antonio. i didnt even go to UTSA so why are you calling me?

I have read all of the previous posts and I agree. I continue to receive these calls but I never answer b/c I don't recognize the number. I am not a UTSA alumni and have no idea how they got my number. Please remove my number from your list.

I am not an alumni and I am not affiliated with UTSA and I recieved two calls from this number. I did not have my phone close by so I missed the calls but no messages were left.

I get called from this number at least three times a week and i pick up every time. I even call back. I answer the phone, here silence and breathing, as 'hello? hello?' and they hang up.
Tell your kids to leave me the hell alone. Either talk or stop calling.

I have "heard them out" and asked them to take my number and name off the calling list and I am still receiving calls. I gave enough money to UTSA when I went to school there and when I sent my husband to school there. We are both graduates and both working hard and very long hours. I don't need the phone calls late at night when I am trying to relax with my family from a stressful day, much less listen to someone asking me to give up some of the money I work so hard for. Go Runners but stop calling!

To get removed, simply call the UTSA development office (210) 458-4130, you will need to provide your full name and your address.You will have the possibility to request to optout from phone, mail and email solicitation.

Your response is pathetic.  Most people are complaining and this is your best answer!  If someone is asking how to remove their phone number from your list, then you should respect that request and offer a solution.

I got a call this evening at 9pm, I have 2 kids under the age of 3, and I work early in the morning. Against my better judgment, I answered......and the caller hung up as soon as I said hello.

If you are going to call me at inappropriate hours and wake mychildren, at least have the courtesy to respond and apologize.

Called me too, 12/6/12 7:05pm. Asked me to confirm my name and hung up... I feel violated.

I am a UTSA grad and just got a call from this number.  They asked for me by name, I said yes that's who I am and then they just hung up.

When I do a search online and see that it was UTSA calling and hanging up on me it does not bode well for me donating in the future.

Quinn, figure something out and fix this.

I too have gotten the calls.... I know that the work studys are just doing their job but after spending 10 years as a student 4 of those years as a full time employee, now I just wirk part time can't afford to give "just" $10 because I'm stuck paying a $34000 student loan debt. Please use different sales tactics I sat on the phone with that poor girl for 15 mins trying to tell her I'm broke.

I'm not a UTSA alumni at all. I'm still enrolled in Undergraduate studies and haven't graduated. I understand they're "paying their way" but so am I. DOn't bug me at work

I graduated from UTSA and I of course am getting these calls.  I have gotten harrasing calls before from other people trying to steel identities.  I even labeled the number in my phone "don t answer".  One time I finally answered and they hung up.  So of course I think its criminal activity.  But when I started to research I found out it was my school.  This was severly dissapointing.  I can t believe this is the way my school is asking for donations.  It is obviously not managed well as I and apparently other people have been hung up on.  If there is anyone that cares about the character and reputation of the university please stop this cheap,cheezy, bizarre manner of getting endowment.  Thank you.

My child just started going to UTSA...I am not an alumni so I guess they are getting started early?  I have received a call every day this week...no message if I don't answer and hang up if I do.

No message. I graduated, and, when paying my alumni dues this year, was promised a T-shirt: I keep asking for the item but no arrival yet! What's going on there with unfulfilled promise?

Don't feel bad.  I had to do it too.  Its all to generate money.  It's a business. I am tired of them calling me too.  I used to donate but the harassing calls have changed my mind.  I just respond with my money.  You treat me bad...you get no cash!

I really feel bad hanging up on these callers, I do.  I feel for them.  They're doing their jobs and it's fine and dandy but after five years of college, where do they expect me to have money to donate?  I make enough to pay the bills, don't have that big time awesome paycheck, and the fact they always call after eight or during dinner isn't helping their case much.

I graduated school "with a large amount of debt" where were you guys when I was in college???  Its still telemarketing even if you are polite.

I noticed a previous article stating this number was related to a UTSA organization. If that is the case, why are they contacting Texas State University students?
