They called and left no message, but in the interest of world peace I telepathically send them positive thoughts just in case their phone melts in their hand at 1000º Farenheit and burns the h**l out of their fingers so they can't dial anymore...

Got a call and told them they had the wrong person and they told me they were going to call back tomorrow...then what, the wrong person still.

Got a call from this #--if it is ARS for Capital One, I hope I get to the phone in time because they're trying to collect for a man whose name is similar to my husband's. We receive his bills and I've tried to tell Capital One it's the wrong person but because I'm not on the account and don't have the other guy's SSN (DUH), they won't let me tell them they've got the wrong guy!

Caller ID'd themselves representing AIS, a colletion agency!

They used this 210-693-0938 number as a way to try to get me to answer.  They are a collection agency named ARS.  They left a message telling me to call them at 866-888-9096.  They didnt say who they were in the message.  I found out by Googling the 866 number.

Probably some  pesky,  old  "debt scavengers"  wasting their time..

No message left. Tried to call the number and the phone didn't even ring on the other end. Just silence. Tried to call again, and got a busy signal. Debt collector probably. That's my guess.

Got a call from  1-210-693-0938: I'm not in debt, so I doubt they are a collection firm......

yeah got a call when i answerd they hung up. I called it back could not get through. it just rings I will countinue to call. I belive its a collection agency

Yes this ia a company called ARS they are rude. i wish i could find out twhere they are stationed in downtown.

Received call from local San Antonio,TX number 210-693-0938 (live in San Antonio) looking for a person I know. They asked to leave a message for that person and left a 866-888-9096. I guess they are trying to be slick and call from a local number so that you can answer because most people avoid 800 numbers.

aggravated that I would get a call like this on a Saturday morning...woke me up. I didn't talk to anyone. I call it, a recording says, "wer'e sorry, your call did not go through".

Got call today & no voicemail was left.  All it said on caller id was "texas call"

Looked up this number on whitepages reverse #/address search and found this is a cell phone number located in the down-town san antonio, tx area. I'm sure they are a "dialer" for a collection agency as "m" stated. Probably someone owing a debt paying it off by dialing for who they owe money to !!

said she was a dialer and just wanted to put a call through , i asked who was calling, said she was a dialer, i said for who, she said mrs brooks was calling.  i think this is a dialer for a bill collector/collection agency
