Received a call from this phone number today claiming to be an investment group, gentleman's name was George. I politely told him we would not be making investments and after three times he hung up on me. How do these people hide behind mask numbers?

Someone calls and asks for the President of my company, but asks for him by name - I then ask who it is, he gives me the name of George, then I ask what company he is from and he says Olympia.  He then cuts me off when I start asking him for more information and he says he has been in contact with my boss and he's expecting "George's" call.  When I ask for more information or to put him on hold he hangs up!

He calls for my husband and when I ask if I can take a message he hangs up.  Very rude!!
These people are really stupid to keep calling! I take care of all the phone calls, if they don't talk to me they don't talk to anyone. :)

This guy won't tell me who he is, so he will NEVER get through to my boss. Sorry pal, that's my job...to keep people like YOU from annoying him on a daily basis :)

called asked for mike . i said he's not picking up can someone else help? he said no and slammed down the phone

A man called and asked for the boss.  I told him he wasn't available and would he like to leave a message?  He said no.

They call & make themselves sound like a long-lost friend of the family. When I asked what it was regarding - SLAM! Just like PO'd in TX! Hey all you stupid cold-callers: if you want to talk to my boss - you damn well better tell me what you are calling about! And then take our number off your list!

Idiot keeps calling and asking for my boss.  This time I called back and told him to remove our number from his list and he acted like I miss dialed the number - BULL!

They call, ask for my boss, I give them my standard answer "he's not available", they slam the phone down!  Don't they 'get' that they're never going to get past me!?
