I heard they are under investigation by FINRA for illicit profit making opportunities and insider trading ties in with their customers for take over stocks.

Ok can someone please tell me what was so bad about this firm they called me and I was interested in the idea. thank goodness I hung up.  But I was still wondering why everyone is so against this firm. please help

It is a boiler room for sure. They use misleading pitches implying that they have spoken with people before "Do you remember me?" They pass out sales scrips to new rookie brokers that they pray can pass the series 7 exam. These guys spend 12 hours a day cold calling people around the country, most of their accounts are in red states which are dumb hicks. They imply that a stock is a potential takeover and is in the works and to start small with just 100 shares and when "we take profits" we can work bigger the next time. The recommended Motr, Bac, pmi, S, Txt and glw. All have declined dramatically. I am surprised they are still in business with all the bs they give out. Can't the regs find these guys out. It gives other stockbrokers a bad name.

Olympia is a dying firm that is getting desperate. Michael Murphy, the CEO, is pushing those brokers to open accounts at all costs. He don't care, he lets the brokers get fined if something happens...

caller asked for boss and when unable to assist caller hung up... question since when does a telephone prefix begins 111??!!!  mmmm?? so much for Caller ID and homeland security?!!

Callers are of the "sales professional" persuasion that can't imagine a mere switchboard operator/receptionist telling them to take a hike.

i called the # on the website and they took me off the call list. they didnt know who "matt" was but took our phone number off/blocked it.

Won't stop calling, this guy - Matt - is the rudest person! Asked to be removed from the calling list and he said he didn't have one. Asked to be removed from the database and he rudely said he didn't have one. Told me he was returning a call, told him we didn't call him and he said that he didn't tell me that. This guy is the biggest jerk!

Are you serious!!?? Asked for owner and while I was telling him that he would not be in until next week he hung up! UGHHH How the hell do you people expect to get business when you do that to potential clients!?!? Tried to call number back but of course it was not in serivce or disconnected...next time you call, I will pick up and hang up no you.
