Fellow called and asked to speak with my boss; used my boss's full name. I told him that my boss was on a conference call and offered to put him in voicemail; he agreed, so I transferred him to voicemail but he didn't leave a message.

Calls my mobile at least once a week now for the past year. I refuse to answer it and after 3 or 4 rings, it stops. What makes me angry is when you call the phone company, they say there is nothing they can do about.

He'd better hope we never meet unless he has a really good health insurance plan.

Just got a call from this one asking for our CEO, then he hung up.  I tried calling back, but got a reorder tone.  I only hope he calls back so I can tell him to get a real job!!

I have been receiving phone calls for a day now but only because of one reason..... EVERYONE knows about the clowns who send out FAKE CHECKS that can never get traced.. Well guys THERE THEY ARE CALLING YOU. I only know this because I operate a few ads online and have run into these people because they were interested in what I was selling. So they sent me fake checks total over 6,000. I already reported them to the FBI and department of homeland security and believe me they have these retards under control. The first communication I got from these idiots was an e-mail.. So I gathered up all there scam emails and added them to my mass email list of scammers and sent them all a virus with a routed telephone number so they could call me. which now explains why they are so adamant to call. LMFAO who the joke on now retards?

People are so dumb now a days they don't realize that no matter where you are it can always come back and bite you in the a**. I hope they get sodomized in rikers. thanks.

Calls back in response to a job posting for a broker position in NYC. Says his name is John and leaves a number that when you call it ends up at someone else's voicemail. He has called back 3 times in 2 days so he is very persistent but very sketchy.

The jerk just called looking for my CEO. I told him he wasn't in and asked if I could take a message and he grunted and hung up on me!!! What a loser! I'll know for next time to not even pick up the call and just hung up and this idiot!

This man is extremely rude. He calls and asks for the CEO of our company by first name only & when I say he is not in the office and am about to ask if he would like voicemail I immediately get hung up on in the middle of my sentence. I would love to know who this is. Next time I am going to be as persistant as he is & ask his name, what company he is calling from & what this issue pertains to so I can then tell him no my CEO is out & I'm hanging up on him!!

Just got this same John character.  He claimed he's returning a call from the Chairman and that he'd know who he is.  When asked, he refuses to elaborate on what the nature of his call is and starts getting pushy.  He's a liar, and in my opinion that makes him a low-life piece of garbage - especially when considering our Chairman passed away over a year ago.  If he calls back, I will be giving him a piece of my mind.

He calls saying his name is John Fowler and pretends to be a personal friend of the CEO. When you tell him that his name does not appear on the CEO's contacts, he hangs up. He is very rude

Yes, very rude! Asks for my boss, then if I say his not available - hangs up.  I've asked who's calling, then he says his name really fast and then says "well, is he in?" I ask who he's with? what's it about?, etc.

Has called several times and asked for someone by name not associated with my company.  He then wants to know who makes decisions for the company. When pressed, he get's bent out of shape and says he'll call back.   Second rate scammer but beware.
