I do not answer, and they don't leave a message. This attempt at not leaving messages, etc, seems to be very ghetto. Not what I expected from the Philharmonic.

Received four separate calls over the last few weeks. Nothing at other end.

They are definitely legit (I work for a NYC based orchestra,) its the NY Phil's phone donation callbank. They are very persistent, but they are also good about making sure you are off their call-list if you tell them to take you off. Unfortunately, no one will pick up if you call back, from what I can tell. Here is the program information:

When I answered the call the lady said she was calling from the "Friends and Patrons of the NY Philharmonic". I did once buy tickets to the Philharmonic, so perhaps it is legit. I asked to be removed from the call list. The lady said, "oh, ok. Oh! Mr. <my last name>?" and then hung up / got disconnected.

this number calls me at least 3 times a week! I never answer...and they never leave a message. So weird!
| they called me too 2008-09-27 00:18:17 Unknown |
This is the number from *69, I did not answer and they hung up rather than leave a message. I did a reverse phone look up under people at www.infospace.com
There is no free info re this phone number. However, the service that charges $4.99 claims it has a name and address for this person. [I did not pay it-- they only called me once so far]

Asked for me by my last name, then we were disconnected. When I called the number, it sounded like someone picked up but didn't say anything.
