this company called and asked for my elderly mother when told she was not available i am her daughter and if this si a solicitation call shregistre is on do not call registry...the woman was rude and stated well i will call back little girl and hung up ... the 212/710/2935 ext 300 when you call back is the most ignorant people on earth

Sammy is right. its Scientology and they keep calling no matter what. If you ever registered for services with Scientology just call and write the center where you enrolled and demand that they take you off their member lists.

Reverse number lookup only says that it's an unpublished number in New York. If this is the Church of Scientology, as reported by some, why would they behave like this - like a telemarketing firm. I've been getting these calls as well! It's that crazy scam-ology cult. These calls can go on for months and months! Best way is to complain to Better Business Bureau about their sleazy illegal marketing calls, high pressure sales tactics, harassment, stalking,etc....also if you are getting tons of mail from these freaks, fill out a USPS form 1500 (prohibitory order) on them, and the post office will take care of the rest. They will contact them and tell them not to send any more mail to you, and if they don't stop......they get fined. Form was originally for sexually provocative materials, porn, ......however now a lot of people are using it to FINALLY GET OFF THE CULT'S MAILING LIST!!!!! It's legal and it works like a charm. Be sure to send it to the New York address on the form, you can get the blank form off the USPS website (Form 1500).

Today between noon and about 8 PM, we got 10 phone calls from this number but no messages. Caller ID says "Out of Area". Most of the calls come in pairs just a few minutes apart. Wonder why the caller won't identify himself.

Called my phone and I answered.  They asked if I was a certain person and when I said I wasn't they asked if I was at a certain address and I said no this is not the address and they said OK thanks.  Nervous that I said it wasn't that address and now they will find the right one since my # is public.

I'm from the other side of the Atlantic too, and someone's been calling me from this number several times a day for almost a week but I've never picked it up because I know the only ones who are able and willing to call from across the Atlantic to an unknown person somewhere in Europe are staff members of the Church of Scientology, only interested in pushing people into buying their religious crap.

They called twice this holiday weekend. They never said a word though. Called at 2pm on 11/28, and at 8:43pm on 11/25. Very annoying.

I have received several calls from this number.  No message is ever left.  I have received calls at all times of the day including around 10 at night

I keep getting calls from this number constantly. It is a pain in the a**. It is the Church of Scientology in New York, and they are trying to get money from you.

I got the best tip for receiving these on my cell. I added the number to my address book with a special ring tone of "MUTE." They call at such random times that it's great to never hear them. Now, I see when I check my log they called but they never bother me.

They never leave a message and no one is on the line when picking up.  Caller ID says New York NY.  I'm suspicious that its the same caller that has calls come up as Unavailable tied to no number.  Apparently it is a call placed over the internet like Skype or another Voip service.  It cannot be blocked because there isn't a number associated with the call.  My phone company, Comcast verified that this is what was happening.
