This number called me as well and asked me to connect to ammyy.com.  I almost fell for this because I was really having trouble with my computer. I did not connect to ammyy.com.  Luckily, I have a friend who is a computer expert.  I am going to have him look at my computer to ensure that is has no malware on it.  I am going to report it to the sheriff's department.

Same as all the above, although the guy with the Asian accent when I pressed him about what company he represented said something about "PC Tech Squad."

I don't have caller ID on my home phone but caught the number this week when it forwarded to my mobile.  The name changes but the voice is the same "East Indian" sounding person.  He usually asks for me by name and then says, "I'm calling from technical support on your computer."  I have told him to remove me from his call list, hung up, yelled / cussed, asked him what company, asked to speak with his supervisor, laughed, and kept quiet listening to him repeat "hello" four time before he hangs up.  He has been calling several times each day this week, often twice in a row if he got voice mail the first time, and has called in the past (seems like every few months).  I don't get upset anymore and refuse to give up my power to this baloney, but I will look into reporting to the FCC after reading others' comments.  My phone company cannot block because my plan is too old and not digital, so maybe it's time for me to upgrade.  In the meantime, I remember coming across a Dave Ramsey show several years ago and him talking about handling collection agencies that don't follow the "do not call me" rule ... he said to get one of those air horns in a can and tell the caller that the next time they call you will blow out their ear drum.  Sounds like a good idea for this one, too :-)

We got a new phone system recently and changed the call pickup from two to four rings.
Now we have time to see who's calling before the "bad guys" hang up.  Several hang up calls have come in today from Vanessa Tom from the number above (according to others here).  I tried to call the number back just now and received a message that the number was not in service.  I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE THE INFORMATION THAT SOME OF YOU HAVE LEFT ME.  If there's any easy was to get on their do not call list, I will.  Best wishes.

Got a phone call from this number (caller ID said New York).  When I answered there was a pause as I heard the busy commotion that is typical of an automated calling center.  A man speaking broken English with an Asian accent picked up my call said he was from Microsoft, that my computer is sending error signals and that it might crash.  He asked ?are you on the computer now?? I told him I would have my husband call him back.  He said to ?call back at 786-600-1027 and ask for Mark Anderson or any of the technicians.?  He SURE didn?t sound like a Mark Anderson.

A person with a foreign accent called from this number and indicated a server my computer was connected to was showing an error.  Clearly this is a fraudulent person/company.  It's sad this sort of activity continues seemingly unchecked.

These guys are incessant! They have called 5 times this week. I've repeatedly said - Please take me off of your list. DO NOT CALL ME. I even said I couldn't understand his English.

Today I said I was reporting this number to the FCC. They hung up immediately.

Caller ID displayed this number from New York.  Thick Indian accent.  Calling from technical support -- getting errors.  I immediately yelled, "Raheeeeeb!!  What happened to camel rental business???"

And I hung up.

Wish I could have seen his reaction.  My hubby was roaring with laughter.

I received a call today from a man with a strong Indian accent stating that my internet provider had contacted Microsoft regarding numerous error reports they were getting from my computer.  I could barely understand him so I got him to repeat the information.  He asked me to go to my computer and pull up my Event Viewer and told me the errors I saw he needed to correct. After asking what he was saying repeatedly and telling him I did not believe he was with Microsoft I was transferred to another man.  This man could speak English a little better.  I immediately told him that I was not interested that I had a technical specialist and virus protection.  He told me he had something they needed me to purchase to help against my computer crashing, etc.  I hung up on them and will be reporting their phone # as fraud Monday morning.

I too got this heavily foreign accented call.  Same script about my computer was sending information to the Web and he could help if I just go to my computer and perform some steps.  After a 3 minute conversation, I told him he was scamming me and funny enough, he admitted it.  I have reported to ic3.gov and Clark Howard to get the message out.

I just got this call, but the number has appeared several times on my caller ID.  I could barely understand him and asked if there was someone who spoke clearer English. He did not transfer me to anyone just starting speaking louder and slower.  He kept insisting that my computer was sending him@ Microsoft numerous malware(s) and that my computer had been infected.  Told me that this could be fixed and he would walk me through it.  I asked him the name of this company and he said PC Caremax out of Florida.  I told him I would research and give him a call.  The number he gave to call back on was 786-600-1027. I googled that number and it appears to be a scam.

I gota call from this number. He identified himself as a member of windows technical team calling from Florida. He said that "they" were getting critical error messages from my computer and they would help me fix it. I asked him, who the hell it was. He said something about a "PCsecure" or something. I really got angry and hung up.

They called me and their representative said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was infected,
I stopped him at that point and asked where he was calling from and he said Florida, but my screen was showing new york. So I told him that from this point on I was going to record the call...he hung up.

Have been getting calls from 212-777-3032.  Answered and a gentleman with a heavy Indian accent said he was from Microsoft Technical Support.  Said my computer was infected with a virus and was sending error reports.  I told him that I did not accept blind calls from someone I didn't know and that I had a son in the business and would have him fix my computer.  Also told him to never call my number again and hung up on him.
This has been reported as a scam on the Microsoft network.
Do not give them any information or download anything from them.  They are the virus.

I looked up this number because we received three calls from it today. The Caller ID read Bell James, and we assumed it was a telemarketer. Glad no one answered it, the last thing I want to do is serve as entertainment for someone with way too much time on their hands.

just got a call from this number. They've called before - I've just let it ring.
The guy said he was calling from Microsoft regarding error messages and that my computer was about to crash.
I started asking him a bunch of questions that he couldn't answer - when I asked him exactly what was the problem he said a "hidden" infection in my computer.  That it was not a virus but an infection - Huh??  I told him I was busy and was going to hang up. He was awfully persistent - I should have hung up immediately after the first few words were out of his mouth but I was curious as to where he was going with it.  He was totally scripted.
Finally I just said I'll contact my technical consultant thank you goodbye.

Some indian guy called me the same BS about my computer sending them error messages. I told him how stupid this was cause I don't have a computer. I asked him to take my name and number off their list. He said. And I quote "I keep calling you."I several times. Then hung up. Can anyone tell me where this call center is so I can burn the building down? F*** these people.

I to just got a call saying the same as what Daisy reported. I told him he was full of sh*t. I asked him if he was talking about my PC. He said yes....windows. I then again told him he was full of sh*t, that I have a Mac. He told me I was bullish*t and hung up on me. I have been getting calls from this number for a week now, and every time I tried to answer, no one was there. Today is the first time I was able to talk to someone.

The guy just called me and told me he was calling from Windows and that he was receiving a critical error from my computer...that it was being logged into a World Wide system computer.  He said that he had some easy steps that he needed for me to do on the keyboard.  I asked him what type of error it was that he was receiving so that I could discuss it with our IT department.  He said "never mind" and then hung up on me.
