This is the right number. I have called them back and they are really the LA Opera.
We went to an Opera 2 years ago and they call every 6 months.
They are super annoying. I have had people get mad at me when I try to ask them to be put on a do not call list. "Oh so you're not a fan of the Opera?" they say.  Yes I love opera but I hate your annoying calls.
Please stop!!

I got a call w/o message so I called them back also. It's a number for LOS ANGELES OPERA.

I called this number back, they called me twice too with no voicemail.  It is the Los Angeles Opera.

I've gotten a phone call a day for the past three days from this number and never a message. How annoying. Guess I'll have to answer it next time and tell them to take me off their list. Don't know how they would have gotten my phone number in the first place.

Los Angeles Music Center/Opera, usually nice old lady volunteers on a funding drive to support the Arts.  Not a bad cause if you happen to have a couple of extra dollars to donate, but charitable donation calls can be annoying.

Know that # at all. Ask the person at the real la opera.

The phonebank listed this as la opera but it's a scam. They call you and have you call them back so they can reverse charge your phone bill. They also try their best to verify your info to tie you into other "promos." Do not give your # to them for verification. Also get google voice or an untraceable # when you share your information (filling out apps, etc). More than likely a privacy policy was violated and your info was shares.

I return the favor by calling them on a blank line and criticize them for having jobs that scam ppl.

If they stopped calling,they would need fewer quarters to pay their bills!I find it intolerably rude of them:actively makes me NOT want to support them

cut them some slack. they are probably trying to beg for quarters to pay their bills.

Dear LA Opera:  We love you, but PLEASE STOP calling and not leaving messages!!  One call will do.  I SWEAR.  I'll call you back when I need tickets and I don't need you to remind me daily with empty voice messages!

I've never BEEN to the LA Opera.  How did they get my number?  So annoying. But at least I now know that I'm not missing an important call.

Rec'd a call from them last night about 7:30pm. Makes sense it was LA Opera, since my hubby & I just went 2 weeks ago. No message left for me either.

Yes the LA Opera has been harassing me for months- calling every day for weeks at a time.  I'm going to ask them to stop calling me.  It's ridiculous.

I just got a voicemail from 213-225-8131 on my cell phone, consisting of nothing but 1 minute and 54 seconds of dead air.  (I know this because I have my voicemails forwarded as .wav files to my e-mail address.) I did a Google search on the number, and this site was the first to come up.  Thanks for the info!  I love the LA Opera, too, but I sure don't love getting annoying phone calls from them.

Gosh, darn it .. they called 3 time in the last 24 hours and left now message. We went to see one show last month and this is the result! What a nag!

They are calling constantly but won't leave a message.  Next time I will answer and ask them to stop calling.

I love the LA OPERA.....HOWEVER, THEY NEED TO REVAMP THEIR CALLING METHODS.....I HAVE TRIED IN VAIN TO GET THEM TO STOP!

They called me last night and again this morning.  No messages were left.

They called and hung up at 8:30 p.m., but stayed on long enough that my voice mail had a blank message from this number.  I'm pretty sure last year I asked them to put me on their do not call list.

They're calling me too... I would really appreciate it if they would leave a message with the reason they're calling and a number/name... I don't even live in LA anymore

Yeah seriously.  They call me all the time.  I try to be nice because it's the opera and not like a shady encyclopedia salesman, but maybe i should just be rude next time.

got the same thing. It would be more professional if they would leave a message.

I received two calls from them last night.  Once at 4pm and again at 8pm.  They called again this morning at 10:45am.  Glad to know its just the LA Opera.
