This number has called me at least 3 times per day for the last three days!  How do I make it stop?

I receiVed a call from this # about 10 Minutes ago, I tried calling the number back and it says "this number is not in service"  What is Really going on??????  It came through on my cell phone.

me too! same story, started around 8 am. At first I thought it was a crazy ex girlfriend or something. An old co worker put me a list for a pyrimyd scheme called ACN telecom, and i signed up to win a house on HGTV's site. Outside of that, I can't imagine how they got my cell #!

The numbers started calling me yesterday and they are still going strong today so I contacted channel 10news and they are trying to put a story together but they need as may people as possible to get the ball rolling so try and contact them so we can get this taken care of.

Same story, several calls from unavailable then the 213-233-9995. When I tell them to stop calling they call any way. When I ask to call them back they won't give me any info. I think I will call the F.B.I

I have also been getting a bunch of cell calls (9 today) that started this morning around 8 am. They call very frequently and the whole day. My phone is registered in Panama City, Fl and I ive in Sanford, Fl. The calls are coming from an unknown number half the time and the other half of the time, the calls come from th 213-233-9995 number (my cell says it is based out of California). I haven't answered the phone and I don't plan on it. They also have not left any messages.

I keep getting calls from this number too. 213-233-9995, I call it back & its disconnected? How do I make it stop, I also keep getting calls on my cell with No Caller ID, I wont pick it up, they never leave a message. this is very annoying, they start at 8am.

The number has called me 6 times.I haven't answered it,but they keep calling and have not left any voice messages.Like a few seconds after the last call my phone started to download 2 picture messages that didn't come through.What the hell?

question has anyone gotten an e-mail on there cell from a (crush.com)? After getting the third one I wrote back not very nice but a codual leave me alone.after this text my phone has not stopped today alone (9 from unavailable) to be followed by 213-233-9995 # (6 more times) yet this # is not a working #    Just trying to find out if this a posible link to this issue

I to received calls from two different numbers on 3/12/08 and then I had a couple from "unavailable". One of the calls the lady asked me about me wanting information about Federal Grant money. the numbers are; 213-233-9995 and 213-233-9998.

I answred my phone and this lady started saying how she can eliminate all of my debt so i asked her if i can gaive her a call back when i got to work she gives me this phony number 213-233-9995 with an ext so i was just sitting here and i called back but the number is disaconnected whats going when everyone and anyone can get your number and call and say they are a certain company and their not.

I got a call from this number at around 9 this morning. I had 2 calls from an "unavailable" number within about 15 minutes of each other, and then about 5 minutes later, this number calls. Very strange that numbers I don't know would be calling my cell phone. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a voicemail, so I don't know what the deal was, but like others here I google'd it and nothing much came up besides this site.

I received a call from this numer 213-233-9995 last night at 5:05pm.  I tried to search on the internet and nothing comes up.  I do know this area code is in Los Angles.  They didn't leave a message so not sure who the heck this was.

I received a call from this number, when I answered the call was disconnected.
Who is calling me?

Just got called again from 213-233-9998. When I answered I remained silent until someone spoke. A lady say's hello several times and I then reply with "who is this?" She asked for a Ben and I replied with "Mam, I'm asking the questions here". "Who are you affiliated with" I asked? She replied with Grant Writer Pro Office. I then asked her where she was calling from and she said Las Vegas. I told her to stop calling me and remove me from your list immediately.
Case hopefully closed!

Just started getting this call on my cell in Pompano Beach FL today 3/3/2008. From what you guys are saying I'm going to have fun with this one. I too called back the 213# and the thing has been disconected. Urgh!

Some lady starting talking slow and I told her to hurry up and spit it out and then she hung up. Call came from 213-233-9995

Have any of you visited www.grantmastercd.com?  After seeing that some of you have had grants referenced in your calls, it makes me wonder.  A scam alert site warns about fake grant information sites but recomended this one.  I was about to order the CD but got to the fine print and decided against it.
I wish everyone luck.  I guess this is "day one" for me.  So far, I have calls from "unavailable" or 213.233.9998 at:

I received a call from 213-233-9995 just minutes ago. I screen my calls and never answer when I don't know a number.  I have decided to take the silent ringer advice. I saved the number under "Don't Answer" and set my phone to "no ring" when this number calls so I won't be bothered.  This is what comes of signing up for something dumb on the internet.  I would also suggest that  you NEVER put a real number in the phone number line of anything unless you know the company well. That is how these things start happening. I have had problems with other groups that have sold my information as well. I hope this helps.

just got called from 213-233-9998.I like amny of you have received several unknow with no numbers and now this....I refuse to answer and have turned the recorder off .  I dont want them selling my number , (which I understand they do it they get an answer

A number of incoming calls on my phone on 3/12/08 from this number and 213-233-9998 and also "unavailable". One of them was a lady asking me if I was looking for federal grant money. I think someone has sold lists of numbers to people out there that are just trying to find a sucker!

I too keep getting calls from various numbers, including 213-233-9995, unknown and others. I never answer then and every time I trace them through google, it brings me to this site with all of us experiencing the same thing. I don't understand how the number could be "disconnected" right after they called us. Also, what is their point, just harrassment?? I truly hope the FCC or other authorities put this person/persons in prison for a LONG time.

I got the same call today on March 7, 2008.  I didn't answer it, but these calls are becoming a bother.  I can't take too much more of these telemarketers playing on my damn phone all day like they have nothing better to do.  Somebody's feelings is about to get hurt bad pretty soon because I am ticked off.
