I jus got my 2nd call this week I am sick of it and this is a fraud they ar from Nigeria and India and these loan companies are aware of the situation.. So when it first started I went and bought a airhorn and everytime they call they get the best blow they ever had Im sure his ears are still ringing i am waiting for them to call back got airhorn ready !!!

what the bull s*** is this REAL ATTORNEY...HA..HA...ATTORNEY DO NAT HAVE A NY TIME TO REPORT IN THIS COMPLAINT...FIRST OF ALL THIS REAL ATTORNEY IS INFACT FRAUD. They might have loose their job that's why they are misusing others to loose their job( Real Attorney). I am talking about you, no doubt there are scams going on but there are real also. We underestimate them also a Scammers  and end up in the misery...by effect of reduce in credit score.

Yes...this is a scam...I've had phone calls from this area code months ago-all middle eastern accents...& also received the threats of going to court, losing my job ....blah, blah....blah...I have not gone to court nor have I lost my job....These people such as the one below stating this is not a scam...& we all better pay or else, should learn to communicate with proper English and terminology.....because you have given yourselves away as part of the scam artists.....

I am really very frustrated with my life that what mess I have created by myself, I just ignored them they were trying to make me understand for last two weeks and told me about the legal consequences but I ignored them thinking it as a Scam. Now, they made me fired from the job...I was well settled with my family...now from where will I get the job..right now I am crying...alot...I am helpless...God please help me..

I really really ignored them stating that they might be a scam, they gave me warning to repay the outstanding amount to the company by which every thing would be taken care off but I ignored them and now I was forced to pay the additional penalty charges by the county court and they also spoiled my credit score...so what else has happened wid me should not happen wid an one, so I suggest you everyone to listen to them and act according to them......

I get calls 4 or 5 times in a row. When I do answer, I can barely understand then and then they tell me I will get fired from my job and need to pay. I've asked them to stop calling and they continue to do so. This is a scam, now how to get them to stop calling.

I got a call today from this number, I called back and questioned the guy and asked for information about the company he wouldn't give it to me.  This is a scam and a waste of time. Glad I looked that number up on here.

Me too, he states I will be jailes and there will be an investagation and my will be $8,000 dollars. They will pick me up at my place of employment or my residence. Also he states he works for a Law Firm (not). Crazy!!!

i got a call from this number telling me that i was going to be locked up in 3 days and i had out a payday loan that i owe $3000 and that i need a lawyer to call him back with my information..i first got scared but thank god i came here to read these blogs now i feel better...

I called this idiot back, he told me to shut the the f*** up and go away, guess it sucks when your medicine.

Got a call from this guy this morning.  He called himself Joe Mayers.  When i asked why he was calling he told me I would be getting a supeona at my old address tomorrow.  When i asked him why he was threatening me he told me to buzz off and hung up on me.  We called him back and he wouldn't say anything except to "shut up" then he pushed a bunch of number keys on his phone.

I have been receiving calls from this number for awhile now.. I can' barely understand the man when he leaves a message because he doesn't speak very good English. Anyways they told me that I need to be in court at 11:30 and hire an attoney.. The court is in California! I am in Cincinnati!! He also said that I can be charged over $8000.00 be arrested and put in jail for 30 days! Oh and my employer will be contacted and my job in in danger! What the heck!

This number is actually for a scam they say you failed to pay on a payday loan. I had 2 of them and the company that they mentioned I never applied to. They said it was a $300 payday loan but that I owed over $8,000. They said I would be arrested within 48 hours and that I'd need a criminal lawyer. So if this number calls you'll know what to expect.

I just got a call and didn't answer and he left a voice mail that said I have to be in Los Angeles for court in two weeks and that he is going to send the law after me at my house and my work .

Got several calls from this number.

I have also been receiving phone calls from this number for a person named Beverly Smith (not my name) along with at least a hundred calls from other numbers around the country for the same person. I spoke with the man from this number who told me that he was calling from the district attorney's office. He told me he would be sending an investigative team to me. I told him I was not Beverly Smith and he told me I would have to change my phone number.

same b***s*** threating about jail time ect.

I thought the FTC found these scammers.  the guy has an American name and a heavy accent that I can barely understand.  Persistent, though.  He called 6 times in 5 minutes, I just kept picking up and hanging up, since he left me a voicemail yesterday (same script I've heard many times before). I didn't even give him the pleasure of leaving their threatening voicemail today, it's amazing how they just don't give up.

keeps callin me talkin bout i gotta come to LA to go to court for a pay day loan..which i did not do. threatens my freedom and tell me he will make me lose my job. Blah blah blah...get out here i aint got time for scammers.

I got 5 calls from this number this morning saying there were going to be criminal charges pressed against me for a pay day loan I supposedly took out October 2011, which I did not do. This is a scam.

Every 6 months I get ridiculous amounts of phone calls from this number for at least two weeks straight.  They call my home, cell phone and work.  He tells me that he is a government employee and that there is a warrant out for my arrest.  He tells me that the police will come to my job and I will be jailed for at least 30 days.  He states that he will make sure my eployer fires me and that I must come out to LA to get this taken care of.  After 2 weeks they disapear for another 6 months.
