I think I'll be calling this bar to give them a piece of my mind!

I got an unsolicited text from the same number, same thing - Mortgage payment to high?

Really didn't care that it was an unsolicited text, it was more the fact that it came at 2:40am.

Just came in today, 10/28/09

Sent me a text offering mortagage rate reduction. A unsolicited text message, are you s**tting me?

"Is your mortgage payment too high?  Our program can lower your high payments immediately.  May we please give you a call regarding this?"
Whether or not my mortgage payment is too high, unsolicited text messages are always unwelcome and an automatic NO.
Switchboard.com reverse number lookup says this came from a cell phone in Los Angeles.

Same text as the rest. Texted back that they were breaking Federal law (not that that would matter to a spammer) since my number is on the Do Not Call List. Told them to go the F**k away or I would report them to the Feds.

ARGG!  I got a text message from them.  I did some research and it is a prepaid AT&T phone out of LA.  I called AT&T and they hung up on me the first time.  I called back and filed a complaint.

Received text message from this number (to an Austin TX cell) that reads:
"Dear Austinite, we are a local energy efficiency company offering free energy audits that can lower your utility bills. May we give you a call regarding this". I ignored the first two texts, and responded "Yes" to the third. I sure hope I get them on the phone.

I received text concerning debt elimination.

is anyone at all concerned of how they acquired our number in order to send this text?

I received the same unsolicited text message on Oct. 19, 2009, stating:

"Is your credit card debt $10,000 or more? Our debt relief program can lower your payments immediately.  May we give you a call?"

Also, would be nice if the CA Dept of Real Estate did an investigation too.  All solicitation is required to have a license number and this is clearly in violation.
