They have a new number they are using now. they pulled the whole i owe loan skit but they had called me from a different number weeks ago and the voices were the same. the number they used the second time was 310-896-3642

i got the same phone call and they also know my social security. do i need to report that to anyone and if i do then who? what actions did you take if any

I received a call from the same crooks on yesterday claiming that there was a law suit against my social security number for fraud and using the same script and the number 408-462-6582 in order to try and get me to pay them money for a cash advance loan that I never even took out. They threaten to prosecute me in a court in the state of California and send me to jail for 6 months if I didn't pay the $497.00 within 45 minutes. When I asked for the manager and further info about the matter, they threaten to hang up and have me arrested the next day if I did not be quiet and listen to them. They were using a law firm by the name of Jennifer. Lawrence and said that an attorney by the name of Dan Foster will be handling the legal matter. These f*%&kin no goods even went so far as to call me from a number that showed up as 911 and said that they were a dispatcher named Mike Anderson from the California State Police and that they needed to verify where I lived in order to have me transported to California and prosecuted for this loan that I supposedly took out. I called the California State Police to inform them of the matter and that they were being mentioned in this scam and spoke to a legit police officer about it. I even placed an alert on my credit report, ss#, and bank account. This is some scary and horrible s**t that needs to be stopped and I hope that they find the pathetic scums that are behind it and have them prosecuted for every last person that they have tried to scam in America!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number as well from a person called Dan Foster.  Does anyone one who this is?

They called and left a message that I need to call them and it is very important and time sensitive. and if I dont call I better get a lawyer and good luck. I will not call back.

they called me 3 times now saying its an attorneys office and I have charges filed against me. they have my social security and I don't know how they got it. I call back and no 1 ever answers.SCAM

they called me on my cell this morning and left me a message saying that it was urgent and I should not ignore the call and told me if I did all they could do was wish me good luck. When I arrived at work my coworker gave me a message to call the same number.  I called and the guy David Williams said I owed money for a cash advance which was crap.  I asked him for the account info he said he did not have it but read of a SS# to me which of course was not mine.  I told him that it was not my number so how could I be sued.  He said yes it is your # and that the officers would come to my job to arrest me.  I then indicated to him that I knew this was a scam so stop calling me.  I have not received any more calls today. Once you let them know that you know it is a scam they back off.

They have called me several times, telling me on my voicemail that I am being sued.  They called me at work and I asked why I haven't received anything in the mail or on paper and he (Charlie Brown was the name he gave me) said that he doesn't have the information, to call back and ask for Dan Foster, at THE SAME NUMBER THAT CHARLIE CALLED ME FROM!! I asked for a case number and again I was told to call Dan Foster. He never said a business name or law firm name.

I have received several calls from this number. They have even called me at work. Who is this? The caller says his name is Charlie Brown and he says that I need to call them back and ask for Dan Foster because I am being sued, but they have no case number and won't give me any information. The number that they give me to call back on is the same number that they call from.

OMG....I can't believe I actually got jiped out of $499 by them today.

got a call saying i will be arrested today for not paying a cash advance, i told them i have no idea what he is talking about, got nasty, said cops will be at my work today and hung up.  i called back , he was a jerk, told me to pay him $489 for money owed, i asked for a bill and my account number, he go nasty again and hung up

They called my place of work saying they were a lawyer

They have called several times on my cell phone number. and have also called me at work. would not give the name of the company. this was a dead give away.

Called me today & left me a VM telling me it was urgent and I needed to call back the second I got the message. Called back and the man who answered the phone told me the company name was "department of fraud & investigations" I said "no, i mean the name of your company not department" and he hung up on me! So I called back, got the same guy, same answer and he hung up on me again! If they claim I owe them money you'd think they would talk to me! SCAM!
