Just another telemarketing call to someone on the do not call list. How do we make it stop!

Sounded like young girl, very sweet sounding. Something about home protection on my answering machine. Obvious scammer.

Just got a call from these bozos. Explained to them I already have ADT, I'm happy with their monitoring service, and have no intention of switching to some security service I've not heard of.

I've traced down someone associated with ISI. I called them and told them what ISI is doing, and also said that I would post THEIR phone number to the web if the calls didn't stop.
The alarm company is actually legit. But it seems that they were NOT aware of the robocall flooding that ISI was doing. At least at the level of the person I talked to. And immediate management above him. (He kept putting me on hold and coming back...)
I told him I would hold off posting their info, including their 800 numbers and how to get through their PBX to someone real, for a day or so to give them a chance to raise hell with ISI.
I get one more call after tomorrow, I WILL post the company and their 800 number and what to do to get right to a real person. And I will post it to every 'fake' phone number here on 800notes. If so, then EVERYONE who reads this can call them and tell them what a wonderful job they are doing.
Gee, an alarm company with a switchboard that is flooded and can't take customer calls. Think they will listen? GOD I hope so!!

They have a FAX number... It's (704) 456-7547 For that matter, they have an 800 number, it's (800) 650-2712
How about every time you get a call from them, you set you computer to set 100 FAXes to them that are printed page that says STOP CALLING ME!!! Or maybe set your computer up to call them 100 times and just have a dead phone line?
Heck, for that matter, put the number into your phone and while you watch TV some night, every commercial call them and politely say "Please take me off your calling list" If they say say you are already on the do not call, politely say "Well, you're still calling..."

If they call again, tell them you work for their competitor and ask them if they can beat the price of a free system and free service each month. I usually get a click and they don't call back for a few months. Today's call was the first one I've received since last July or August.

Called my cell today - I politely said that I am not interested and began to ask that they remove my number from their call list. The lady on the phone talked over me, repeatedly, wouldn't listen to me, and continued to explain their offer. I finally said, "EXCUSE ME! I AM NOT INTERESTED AND WANT YOU TO REMOVE MY NUMBER!" She hung up on me.

I received a call on my cell phone from a young woman who said she was with Home Security. When I said "hold on, tell me how you got this number." She said "You must have filled out an on-line request for information." When I told her that was not possible because I have had a home security system for 12 years, she became rude and hung up on me when I said remove my number from your call list.

Got a call from this unknown number even though my cell is on the national Do Not Call list. Very frustrating.

That sweet sounding girl is hired by criminals to rip people off. All they want is your credit card or bank account number.

ISI Alarms calling again. File a complaint with the FCC and the North Carolina State Attorney General. Read through the numerous complaints they have with the BBB here:

Just called my cell phone. The rep said the company name was The Home Protection. Spoke very fast about a "free" alarm system if I allow them to put a sign in my yard. When I asked her to repeat herself, she said she only made calls and that someone would come out to my house and explain it. The rep also said that everyone thinks it's "too good to be true" but it is. Yeah Right! I asked her what the monthly fee was so I could discuss with my husband and she over talked me and kept asking me for my first and last name. Very Rude, wouldn't give me a minute to speak with my husband regarding the system. Nothing is free! I asked to be taken off their calling list. We will see.

Its yet another home security solicitation I have a list of about 35 different numbers they have called from. It does you no good to ask, request or get very very verbal with them, they still call from other numbers
