Do not call list does not work. we have changed our number and its worse. how and why? so much for privacy and security.

thank you for all this information, good to know and I will follow-up also. All mym numbers are on dont call list as well I have security on home phone, only people can use my house number as to robot can't press 1.

Since I'm on the Do Not Call List I assume these f****rs either found a loophole or are just breaking the law, in which case they will be found out and punished. Not before they make their money though... and like the real scammers (international bankers) they will probably get a slap on the wrist and get to keep most of their ill-gotten gains.

Maybe someday we can have REAL justice for financial criminals instead of fines that amount to pittance.

This company robo-called me:  "time's running out to take advantage of our credit card discount interest offer."   For more information, press 1.  I pressed 1, got a professional-sounding woman.  I told her to remove me from her list and she disconnected.  A few days later I got the same call, pressed 1 again.  After some wait-music, a man answered, "account services."  I said, "Why are you calling me?"  He disconnected.

They don't identify themselves but are obviously trying to make you think they're from your credit card company and want to help you reduce your interest load.

Total scam.  They run away as soon as you ask a legit question.

No new information, here. I have them listed in my notes as Credit Card Services. I've opted out multiple times, as well as reporting them to the NDNCR multiple times. They use a different number every time they call, so blocking them is impossible. They are believed to be some kind of a loan scam outfit.

Unfortunately, they use a different number every time they call (or at least have when they call me,) so it's pointless to block this number. I keep track of all the numbers they've called from, and only once have I ever seen the same number come up twice.

robo caller wants to lower my interest rate and this will be the last time they will EVER offer this to me! darn it , my machine picked up and I will never be called again??doubt it. the caller id is an internet spoof just a long list of numbers.

Have getting calls from these clowns for 10 years, now on a mothly basis.  MO AG is a joke, cussing at the walls does more good.  The "Do Not Call List" has no enforcement teeth, the carriers aren't held accoutable and now there isn't a free reverse lookup available for us to use.

Just got this call on my regular home landline (I work from home.)  Saw the name on Caller ID and picked up/hung up to break the call.  Then checked here, JUST TO BE SURE it wasn't a REAL credit card alert call indicating FRAUD on my credit card - as happened a couple of months ago.

Pretty sure this one is BOGUS though.

Called while we were out, left no message.  Called ID said "Card Services"  so is this Rachel calling again?

I just received a call from 213-375-0020.  The ID showed "CARD SERVICES".  I hung up and then added this number to my call blocker.  The call blocker is a great thing.  I just keep adding and adding numbers.  This particular call blocker was bought off Ebay and will allow for 1500 blocked callers.  GET ONE, THEY ARE CHEAP!

Card Services changes the spoofed number almost weekly now.  I no longer will answer "not available" "toll free" or any other weird ID that shows up on my caller ID.

I figure if they cannot leave a message, their call is not important.
I tell all my friends that I screen my calls to always leave a message or get put on my block list.

Received a call from these people today.  Pre-recorded message about lowering your interest rate.  Reported them on the DNC list.

Called but didn't leave a message.  Problem with these types of calls is that you can block the number but since the caller ID isn't really showing a correct number, you can't always block the call.  I've had the same recording 6 times this week from 5 different phone numbers.

This is the old "Rachel at card services" scam that calls from all different numbers

I leave my line connected to the fax (leave the printer on and auto answer) and then check the caller id. If it's a number I recognize I call it back. If not I check the number out on this site. Since I did this I get far fewer calls.

The only thing the registry is good for is to get your number out there!

Wants personal info to reduce credit card interest rate.

Recived a call from 213-375-0020 that showed on caller ID as CARD SERVICES. I called the number bach and recieved Verizon that the number I dialed has changed, was disconnected,  or no longer in service.

we have gotten a couple of calls over the last couple of days; 1) I filed complaints with the Missouri No-Call list (attorney general) and the FCC.  these approaches work, the only down side is that they don't act on just one complaint.  they act on a group of complaints.  don't be complacent, filing a complaint only takes 5 minutes and who knows, you might even get to read about some of these clowns being prosecuted.  Peace

The problem stems from the Government, until we either file a lawsuit against the Government for not protecting what they started we can hold our a** like always. Yes we pay taxes and the Government takes and s**** on us. That is why the rest of the WORLD hates Americans cause the Government is s*** also know as crap.

They change number every month, people saying to block number are wrong, you can't block them. I have no balance on my card, keep telling them,  but  they keep calling every month, sometimes every week, and refuse to stop.

Overwhelming! But thanks for doing research! I will do my part now.

GET A CALL BLOCKER ...

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker.  www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it. No monthly fees either
