received a call after booking a ticket with travelocity
did not answer it, no voice mail was left

I looked up the phone number on reverse phone lookup and this number is related to verizon or voip communications. go to this addy and see for yourself, it is a really cool site tells you everything about the number:  www.realphonelookup.com

Booked a flight with Delta through Travelocity, got a call from this number half an hour later, no one on the line.

Heavy Asian accent.  Caller ID says "WNS".  They are always asking for people in our IT department.

This person has contacted me first by email two weeks ago; she wants my SSN for tax purposes on behalf of an oversea educational organization. Just called both my house and cell phone - left no message but sent another email right away. FBI should get on that one!

Booked w/ travelocity today

Booked for a staff member on my credit card. They called to confirm I booked a flight for them. assuming they called because the flight name didnt match my credit card number.

As soon as I confirmed that "yes I did book that flight"  the caller said "thank you" and hung up.
Didnt ask for any personal information.

I have received several calls from this number but no message has been left. I just wanted to let people know I reported this and I did NOT order any airlines tickets.

I had a call from this number and it was Financial Freedom, a reverse mortgage company, calling for a legitimate reason. It's possible that this is a debt collector associated with Financial Freedom. The caller left a voice mail and gave a different call-back number; I haven't yet called them back but it seems like a real call.

Is there anything strange on your account? I just got the same call like you. I am freaking out right now :(

Also got a call from 2134572100 half an hour after booking a ticket with United. The caller, who had an accent, perhaps Indian, said she was calling from United and asked details about my credit card as a "verbal check". After I got off the phone the number rang back- I didn't pick up.  I got no more calls from this number.
The next day I rang United and the customer service person said did not make calls of this nature. I'm monitoring my card.

this number is blocked, you can not call back. i did trace it , looks like united airline refund dept.

.      united job source it out to india, person left messages hardly audible. very soft, you can not understand what he is saying.
      i'm following up on a issued refund check from united airline to me , which i did not received. united refund dept. uses this phone number to have a very incompetent agent from india to call you.
i finally got hold on this call, showing  213 457 2100, argue with him for his incompetency. he hung up on me., no way you can call back UNITED refund dept.
ask att to call back , att charge you. but to no avail. phone number is block, att did not even know it. that it is block.
just to share my experienced with UNITED AIRLINE REFUND DEPT.,

Got same call, turned out to be from United Airlines, guy on the other line was clearly Indian and he was able to help me with my ticket refund/exchange.

Called travelocity.com to change a reservation; I was told that I would be contacted in 24 hours with a confirmation.  The call from the suspicious number was received 12 hours later.  The caller stated that they were following up from earlier and that they were calling to request a confirmation of my email address and they also needed me to verify the 3 digit code on the back of my card.  Caller was a woman.  She mentioned being located in New Delhi, India. I did not provide any information.

I was upset by a call trying to confirm United Airlines reservations for Alice (pronounced A lice) and 20 others who supposedly used my phone number associated with my credit card to make their reservations.  I asked to repeat the number and it was my cell phone number.  He was startled when I mentioned that I worked for United for 12 years and was unfamiliar with this style of call and his sentence structure was not that of any United employee of any nationality.  I am monitoring my credit cards and possible credit for id theft. My home phone line by coincidence was disabled the same week. It all got my attention.

Getting calls as well.  Exact same situation as DrGrady.

Received calls today on both my home and cell from this number.  I missed both calls but no message was left either time.  It is conceivable that it might be Air Canada since I just flew home via Air Canada the other night.  My luggage was delayed and I had to fill out a baggage claim form at the airport - the claim clerk pointed out the 1800 number on my copy of the claim form and mentioned that the call center was in India.  Thankfully, my luggage was delivered to my door the following morning and I never had to call looking for it.  I'm now wondering if the call might have been a follow-up customer service call from Air Canada.

The strange thing is that 213-457-2200 is the number for a company called CDM (www.cdm.com) located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Other 213-457 numbers are located in California.

I recently made a reservation with Air Canada and this morning I got a call back from this number verifying some of the changes I made and some BS about my creditcard number being wrong.

The voice was very female and slightly East-Indian/Pakistani. But with Air Canada being located in Toronto I guess that's not so strange. :-)

I have missed calls from this number and no message is ever left. This line is on do not call list.

Received a call asking for my time to complete a survey in my specific area (compliance). She stated that others have been completed already for other areas (e.g. finance) and this was another area they were asked to look at.  the caller stated she was with SAP.

I have received several calls over the past month, but no message has ever been left.

i get this coming into my voicemail at least a few times a week. it's line which does not accept incoming traffic. no message is ever left.
