I finally answered this call with this number; 213-637-7717.  They said they wanted to speak with a Robert. I then told them there is no Robert and how did you get my number. They said its random and mine "just happened to pop up". I told them dont think so because you guys have called me before and this is my number you called.   i also said to not call me again or I will report you to the BBB. The person said my number may come up and may get calls again.  Well it better "not happen again".
Time before I had asked what the call is about...apparently this dude owes outstanding student loans. Go figure.

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ME AND WHENEVER I DO ANSWER THEY STAY QUIET N HANG UP...IM SO TIRED OF THE PHONE CALLS MADE FROM THIS NUMBER...

They keep calling me!  It is starting to drive me nuts!  I am almost motivated to pay a reverse phone service to find out who these jerks are.  Oh, and they speak spanish!

Received a call from 1-213-637-1942. Caller ID showed local 99 seui. Caller did not want to leave a name or message and said it would call back. I called the number and know one picked up. Be ware!!!!!

I get a call every night, when I answer, they hang up.  They never leave a message.

I GET A  CALL ON  MY CELL PHONE ONCE EVERY EVENING FROM TELEPHONE NUMBER 213-637-11942. AND WHEN I SAY HELLO THEY HANG UP.. I TRY CALLING THEM BACK AND GET NO ANSWER. I ''D LIKE TO KNOW WHO THEY ARE AND WHY THEY ARE CALLING MY CELL PHONE EVERY EVENINGF. IS THERE A WAY I CAN BLOCK THEM FROM CALLING MY CELL PHONE? THEY ARE BEGINING TO ANNOY ME.

Include me in the list of complaints  how can this be stopped?

This is an overpaid underperfroming coalition of unions at LAUSD, including SEIU Local 99, focused on incresing thier work benefit packages, who are not above the law and should be find for not adhereing to do not call lists.

well I used to work for seiu and call people for the union. we are not apart of the union although we had to tell respondents we were. we are in new york city and we were told not to leave messages. the computers would randomly call numbers and we did get a lot of complaints. it was the most unprofessional place I  ever worked. but $10 per hour didn't seem bad since im a student. p.s. the do not call button didn't work but I guess people figured it out. I hated that job they even had a rapist work there who would try to meet the nurses we called

Update: I called the number utazdevi found above (213-387-8393) and was told that Morale Cosi (sp?) was the only person who could remove my number. I got a generic voicemail and left a message.

This number calls 5 times a day and has done so for over a week. They ask for me by name in Spanish when they answer. We have told them 4 times, in both English and Spanish, to stop calling, but they continue to call.

IDK why this tel. 213-637-1942 keeps calling everyday , up to 3 times in one day. Each time we answer , they just hang-up & its just so frustrating. Who the hell are these people?

This number is annoying. I live in the South Bay area of Los Angeles and everyday we get these people calling us. We don't answer it and sometimes you here on the answering machine some person making fun of our Greeting for the Answering Machine. What the heck do they want? These guys are so freaking annoying.

I Keep getting these stupid calls, and they don't pick up! Why would you take the time and energy to call someone and not say anything! Just stop Calling me!

Ok the most reasonable explanation for me it's that a few weeks ago i sent a rebate and they asked me for my phone and my email,so ever since i sent the stupid rebate i got tons of unwanted emails and calls like that local 99 whatever is one of them,so don't think too hard you gave your number somewhere,and that's how they take advantage by sending crap or to try to sell crap to you!!!,plain and simple!

Same as others above...repeated calls then just hang ups. I called the info for Blanca Gallego and informed her that unless these phone calls ceased I would contact my friends from the Los Angeles Police Dept and File a Harrassment complaint with her and her union.

First time we received a call from this telephone number.  No one on the other end answered, they were just silent it was so damed annoying!

Have received repeated calls from this number.  Person on the other end usually speaks Spanish.  I tell them every time that we are on the Do Not Call Registry and not to call again.  This most recent call, when I told them not to call, the guy stopped speaking Spanish and told me to F@#$ myself and called me a B*#$% then hung up.  CAlled the Caller ID number back, and it just rang.

I called the number and got an automated service that had various options, including a "Communications Department" if I hit "&".  I hit "7" and got the voicemail for a woman called "Blanca Delgado" whose voice seems awfully familiar to some of the callers who have called from this number.  I left a message informing them that I have received several unsolicited calls from this agency, and to cease and desist immediatley.

In case you are wondering, I have nothing to do with this union, nor do I have any peripheral attachment to it (no family members involved in it, either).

Came up on my caller id as Local 99 SEIU - 213-637-1942.  When I answered, a Hispanic person asked me if I was (not stating my name here). When I said yes, she just hung up. My married surname is Hispanic but I am not, so I suspect she was calling thinking I am.  When I tried to call back to tell her how rude she is, no answer.

OK,SO TODAY I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND SHE LEFT A MESSAGE. I RECENTLY POSTED SOME FLYERS BECAUSE MY CAT MIMI WAS LOST AND I'M TRYING TO FIND HER. THE SAD PART IS THAT AFTER READING ALL OF THESE COMMENTS I THINK THIS WAS A PRANK CALL, WHICH MAKES ME UPSET AND SAD AT THE SAME TIME.

this number called and asked for my brother i said he wasnt home then the lady stayed on the line for about three seconds but didnt say anything..i kept callin back but they wouldnt answer or the line would be busy

Same here. Receive calls with no person on the other end. I tried calling back and there is no answer. I'm glad I'm not the only one getting these calls. I was beginning to worry!

(213) 637-1942 "Local 99 SEIU" in caller ID...same thing as mentioned perviously, calls all day and hangs up, when I call the number back it just rings.

We've received multiple calls from this number with no aresponse fromn the pers0n (mach9ne?) calling. I did a search on the Caller ID - LOCAL 99 SEUI, it came up as: SEIU Local 99 is a union of over 35,000 education workers. Teachers, paraeducators, custodians, cafeteria workers and others working in schools, colleges and administrative offices throughout Southern California. They just called again...

UNKNOWN NUBER TO ME.NO ONE EVER SAY'S ENYTHING AND ALWAY'S HANGS UP.MY HUSBAND CALLED  BACK AND THEY PICK UP BUT DONT ANSWER AND THEN NEXT TIME THEY CALLED AGAIN BUT WITH NUMBER BLOCKED AND STILL SILENT.

Unknown number to me, caller left no message.  Caller id show caller has called me a number of times before.  No message is ever left.
