I am an idiot. Of course the number didn't work, because i pushed a nine instead of a 7. wow. sorry all. But, the edit account option still does not work. it gets this error message "Only one instance of a ScriptManager can be added to the page".  I could edit my account before, so that still seems a little worrisome. :(

I tried to get in contact with Easy Life Savings to find out if they had given my information to another company because I suspect that they did, and the person I spoke with said that they had never even heard of Easy Life Savings. I asked the woman to telll her supervisor, since their phone number (1-800-719-7640 is the number members see) is the one listed on the site, and when I tried the number again less than 15 minutes later, it was not a working number. Then I was going to cancel my account, but for some reason every time I clicked the "edit account" button, I got an error message. I sent them an e-mail but it hasn't been very long so I haven't gotten a response. Very worried that I will end up out of pocket because of this... Also, does anyone recognized this number? 9402399489 I believe it's a company affiliated somehow with Easy Life Savings and they ended up with my number, but if anyone had any info at all about what's going on with this Easy Life Savings or with this number, I would be very grateful.

Best Advice:

1.  Your going to have to contact the savings club you joined to try to dispute this.  If you can't resolve the dispute, then you can go to your credit card company and submit a disputed charge claim through them.

2. If you joined the club, you must have created a user and password to "log in" to the members page for the following link: "http://easylifesavings.com/home.aspx". Log in and go to the bottom of the site. Find "contact us" button and click on it.  The next page should display a phone number that you can call and cancell your membership.  The terms state that you must cancell 30 days prior to the next billing, so most likely they will stick you for another monthly fee before your membership is cancelled.

Site: http://easylifesavings.com/home.aspx

Their snailmail address on the website:
    Easy Life Savings Club
    4259 South Florida Avenue
    Lakeland FL, 33813

Email Contact:  easylife@atclubs.com

Since I am not a member, would a member post the member only contact information so that others can use....

3. If you attempted to resolve the dispute through Easy Life Savings Club and get nowhere, contact your credit card company and inform them you would like to dispute the charges (if you have online access to your credit card info, usually they have a simple process to dispute online.)  REMEMBER... the credit card company will want to know what you've done to resolve this dispute with the billing company.  The billing should show  "EASY LIFE SAVINGS CLUB LAKELAND FL".  Also ask for a charge block on that company (it may be a different functional name for your credit card, but ask to block further charges effective immediately!)

Word of advice, establish an alternate email account on yahoo, gmail, hotmail or any of the many free email sites, and use that address whenever joining anything online.  That will prevent spam associated with your activity from being sent to your "regular" email address.  Once your comfortable that your not receiving spam from that site, you can always change the email address in your profile to your "regular" email address.

Hope this helps!

I received a call from 212.574.7771 claiming they were EasyLiveSavings.com and that $100 worth of coupons were going to be delivered to my email in 15 min. I could also give them my credit card number and get more free stuff by just looking at their stuff. I worked for a company at one time that sold patches to stop smoking and  others to lose weight.  I was the customer service supervisor. One of my duties was to go through the requested refunds and approve or deny them. From what I could tell, 90% of the people deserved a refund.  I was told that I could only give a certain number of people a refund per month. I felt terrible and started questioning their practices.
One day I was given a 8 inch stack of names of people whose credit cards had been charged by the company several months previous and they had just now learned of it.  As I had my callers make the apology calls I did some investigative work and learned that the company had charged these credit cards and held the funds in an interest bearing account for several months.  Judging by how many people whose cards had been charged (amounts from $200-$600) the company must have been making a pretty penny off the interest.  The people all eventually got their money back, at least the ones that I had my employees call.  I walked out of the company when in a staff meeting I could not help the president and others see how unethical these practices were. I only worked there for 6 weeks.  Too long.
So now when I get calls from companies like this I mostly ignore them or hang up.

I did the same thing, sign up for a gift card and coupons. The best place to get coupons free is krazycouponlady.com or to order coupondede.com very good sites.

I just got a phone call from this number stating an offer from www.easylife savings.com for 100 coupons for $1.99 and 200 coupons for $15.99 plus $100 voucher to shop @ walmart, plus travel for 2 for a reduced $, needless to say I started to hear bells/alarms  like when I listen to Clark Howard and the scam alert goes off.  My hubby started to ask more questions as by now I have the guy on speaker phone and we were told they are registered with the BBB in lakeland, FL. I am very suspious of the validity of this call. They wanted my credit card number and stated they would not use it w\o my permission.  I believe I have heard that one before.

This helps me as I, too have been getting calls and more calls and offers since I filled out a survey on line to get coupons. Easy life savings club and offers for returning to school. Not too comfortable with giving some tellermarker my credit card number with their word that they will not use it w/o my permission first for all this stuff for $1.99-$15.99. They frequency for the payment was not mentioned.

I only had this number show up on my caller ID. No messagae from them so I tried to call back with my google phone, NO ANSWER! TWICE TRIED! If they can't even pick up the phone when calling back?????? Must be a looser.  I typed the number in my search engine and this site came up so I though I'd leave some feedback   What caller Company? I have no idea but this is pretty cool I'm able to leave a comment.

I also signed up for a coupon deal and started getting calls from this and a bunch of other numbers.  This number leaves blank voicemails and a different number tells me I won a free visa giftcard.  UGH!  I tried to return their call and heard a recording say "The telephone number you have called is temporarily not in service."  They call several times a day!

I just got a call and ignored it but from what the previous person stated, it sounds iike they probably got my number from a coupon savings website. Have any of you recently signed up for free coupons or something like that?

This company stated they were "Easy Life Savings Club".  They even have a website. They also informed me that they were part of the BBB.  This seemed way too good to be true. I looked through their site and I looked up the address they gave me over the phone. However, when I searched the BBB, they didn't show up.  Also, I found it fishy how the number came from LA, even though the business was out of Florida.  Idk.. bad feelings about it.. I think it's bogus.
