I got 2 calls back to back, and recalled they may have been resulted from legitimate Tech Support from Brother printer who was troubleshooting the Fax feature.
Tech Support is actually located in Philippine, though the number indicated Los Angeles.

I received a called from 213-797-1039 asking if I was with Better Buy Computers

I received two phone calls, back to back from this number at 2:17 AM!.  The second time, they left a message that was nearly unintelligible.  They wanted me to call 1-888-715-7272 to respond to a service number I couldn't make out.  

The 888 number is registered in Florida, but(213) is a California number.  when the person on the phone said the time, she said it as 2:17...NOT 11:17 as one would expect if she were in Ca.
