Got a txt from 3508 saying to call  this number about a harris bank card.

got the same thing from harris and i DO have harris went through with it now my account is drained! im going to flip on harris tomorow how could they let s**t like this happen

Got a txt message: "From 3891:info1@aol.com / / Call 2137974434UnemploymentCardDeactivated."

I keep getting text messages from this spammer scam......t-mobile won't do s*** about because they don't allow customers to block numbers, so I just keep getting them all hours. I am very frustrated!

I am so sorry you got caught up in this scam.  I tried to report the text messages I got to CHASE, and they were pretty much uninterested.  Makes me wonder about them. . . .

At any rate, since you were a victim, they should be able to all of the money back into your account.  It's not the first time I have received these messages and each time, I've reported it.  Good Luck and God Bless.

if u have skype i believe it is a number u can call on skype. people have nothing better to do scam the innocent. karma on them. i called chase and that number or text that u get has nothing to do with them. i got the text on the 6th and tried calling that number but it's disconnected.

yeah i got tricked my dumba$$ didnt realize my bank number and the number they gave me was different and now my account is drained...called the number today and its disconnected!

it's a huge scan - they use everything from banks to unempoyment.

I got this number text'd to me as JP MORGAN, Unemployment, and Citibank, in last two months.
They send out a general message, They only know what you tell them , if you are dumb enough to call them, They label you as a fish. A BANK or Gov agency, will only contact you by mail, and Would always ask you to come into a branch, or official office to handle problems.
If you have ever sold anything on craigs list, and posted your phone number , they have it,
The scammers buy random numbers, put out 100k messages, and if 2 people call them, they get a profit.
Illegal, but all the same to them.
If everyone could charge a nickel , to allow  someone to text them, this would make it a economical
impossibility for the scammers.

its actually listed as harris "banc" not bank kinda funny. I called back and gave them a card number and pin to an empty visa gift card.

I do not have an account or a credit card from Harris Bank.

It's scam. Unemployed people leave their phone numbers in their resumes, which can be found on the NYS Unemployment Office website.

They were trying to still my bank info. I had to call my bank and cancel my card number. These idiots have to be in jail!!!!

I received a text from these people and was immediately concerned about Fraud because I have no Unemployment card which they mentioned in their text and I have no account with Harris (burg?) Bank.

Got two different SMS messages saying it was from Harris Bank and Harrison Bank about my MasterCard. I don't even bank with them. Beware!  Happened to me before as well and I call (duh! during my 5 minutes of daily of idioticy). I had to cancel the card.

Phishing scam, don't call or enter any info.

I don't have an account at Harris Bank, so I knew it was a scam.  I forwarded the message to spam@uce.gov as I do all scam emails and messages.

recd msg on cell stating it was from Harris Bank. When I called the automated msg stated my debit card has been limited and I needed to enter the card number.   I don't think so!!!!!!

It happened to me too. First they sent me a message saying:
Alert: HarrisBank MasterCard is Limited Call at 646-807-3494 for details.
Of course I didn't call and a couple of hours later they said:
HarrisBanks PleaseContact 213-797-4434

Hopefully I don't have a Harris Bank credit card but what if I did and I did set the text message alert!!!
Any idea of what we can do to protect unaware people...

Harris Bank: Please call 2137974434. I'm not even a Harris customer. I'm really going to call and give them info... riiiiggghhhhtttt. Too bad from the posts it says you only get a recorded message. I think it would be fun to call and talk to them. Why yes, my name is really Herman Munster, why do you ask?

i got this text too supposedly from harris bank 2 times today, i also told them to go f*** yourself scammer

They sent me a text messege i called it said my card is limmited please inter my card number (no thanks) I called my bank a idiot would give these scammers your card number.
