I received a call from them asking if I requested a loan and I did so I said yes and they needed to verify that I could make monthly payments so I did and now I am out that $ . It was a payday advance loan I thought. But now know bad business.

213-928-5467 called.  Left no message.  Just called.  Hangs up.

They called me 3 times this morning, and when I finally connected with a live person at the other end, they asked if I was Mr. XXXXXX. I confirmed and they hung up. Obviously a bad business. These people have no respect for the law, the do not call list, or common decency. They should rightly be tarred and feathered, covered in sugar and dumped on an ant hill somewhere in Texas (fire ants)

This was the first Magic Jack number to ever call us, and there have been many since.  They always request a particular IT manager (getting some names right) and claim to be from Microsoft.  So far this morning, "Sean / Shawn Smith" (with an Indian accent) has phoned four times in six minutes.  After the first one, I kept hitting "Drop."

They've called now 2 times, I keep asking what the purpose of the call is and they say it's personal. I tell them I can't put the call through because you seem to be calling from a call center, then they get rude.

Claimed to be from Larsen & Toubro, or  LNT.  I have received numerous calls from this number. Every time, they claim to be from a different company. I've heard FedEx, Ziff Davis, Tech Research Assets, LSI, Johnson Control, US Bank, Citibank, Bank of America, UPS, NBC, and Coca Cola Company (ha ha!)  They ask for various employees and want me to confirm titles, e-mails and addresses.  They never get past me!  I'm on to them!  
Beware!  These people are relentless and obviously up to NO good!

I just got two calls in a row, but didn't answer.  Called back to hear, "the magic jack customer you're trying to reach is not available..."

This is an Indian call center. They were making calls for Ziff Davis to promote some kind of software.

Answered the call by mistake - some idiot in brok-en en-gleesh wanted to know about our FEDEX account. I gave him a bogus number and said that we had top secret clearance to ship anywhere in the world for to all state governments. Told him that the number he should call is (a bogus number starting with 555) to find out more about our FEDEX account. They have not called back since -

Called and said he was with FedEx and need to verify our address not sure why or what he wanted but I called the number back he was clearly not with FedEx.

This Saudi Arabian calls at least once a day askinging for "Paul".  I can tell by the background noise he is a telemarketer, so each time I say that the boss isn't in today and can I take a message.  He never wants to leave one.  But this time he did ask if there was anyone else here that he could talk to about employee benefits.  I said, "no".  He said he would call back another time.  I said not to bother that we aren't interested in buying anything.  He said, "I'm not selling anything."  I said, "Well, whey would you otherwise be intersted in our employee benefits?"  "You are certainly selling something or you wouldn't be calling and you certainly aren't giving anything away."  He said "That's O.K. I'll call back sometime when Mr. ********** is there."  I asked, "Well now, how are you going to know that?"  "Because when you call again and I recognize your voice, he STILL won't be here!"

I keep getting calls, I don't answer and they don't leave any message so I"m not sure who is calling me.

Just got a call at my work number.

The caller asked for me specifically and when I confirmed he just dropped the call without telling me who he is or what company he is with.

This number called me and someone in broken english asked if it was (my business name) and I said yes then he hung up. When i called back it went straight to a misc magic jack voice mail.

Got 2 calls from this number as well today. Did not answer because it was not recognized.

I've received 3 calls from them in the past 2 days.   Never picked them up b/c I didn't recognize the number and don't have time for cold sales calls.   Thought I'd come here and see if anyone else was in the same situation.

They called three times in a row just now.  When I tried calling back, the call doesn't go through, just dies.

A company has been calling my number for the last two weeks sometimes up to 8/10 times a day. When I answered and questioned who they were, they said they are an event company regarding a product event. When I told them they have no right to harrass me on my personal number and I consider it harrasment, they hung up. I have tried to call the number and get an unidentified answer machine.

I got three calls in a row today.
