I just got a call from this bozo on my cell while at work. He was getting impatient with me when I said I wasn't near my computer. He insisted I get to it so he could help my situation. With be the same heavy accent, hard to understand and claims he's from Microsoft windows. I asked to speak to his supervisor to confirm his identity & he got upset with me for not believing him. "Because of my accent I am liar?!" I said no, but the fact that my cell is not connected in any way to my desktop makes me suspicious! Then I hung up & called my daughter to give her the heads up.

Sounds like the same scumbag that called me today. I hung  up immediately. Who in their right mind would spend 10 seconds on an anonymous call from someone saying they were Windows Support??

I just got a call from this guy as I was mid-video game match and he could hear explosions in the background from my speakers, and he continues to say how I have a virus affecting my motherboard, he told me to switch on my computer I said it was on and he said "Do you see your keyboard in front of you?" I hung up at that point, heavy indian accent, do not trust this guy he claimed to be from Microsoft (Guy above says Windows, same difference).

Got a call from this number saying that he was from Windows tech support, VERY heavy Indian accent. He will tell you to download 1 of 2 programs so he can log into your computer (teamviwer or ammyy) I already use team viewer, so I had it downloaded. He told me it was corrupted (I know that it works, because I used it this morning) and had me download ammyy. He showed me files that were "infected" and told me that the prefetch folder was hackers tools. I looked it up while still on the phone with him, and he started to act as though the call was breaking up.
Be VERY cautious of this caller.
