Receive the same call several times per day. My account is and always has been paid ontime automatically through Verizon's bill pay feature. Funny thing is today a message was actually left by "Verizon Wireless" asking for someone else. I've had this number for many years and know for certain nobody else has ever had it.

I heard it was a fraud, so I'm reporting it.

No message was left. Called at 9:20 a.m. Unwanted call.

It's Verizon. They call several times a day less than 2 hours apart sometimes.

I answered the call. It was a company offering a lifetime interest rate of Prime % on all lending products and credit cards for the one time cost of $699. They said it was fully refundable within the 10 day grace period upon receiving the paperwork in the mail. They had lots of my existing information but asked some strange verification questions. I declined the offer and he said I could call back anytime to his extension to accept the plan. Caller gave me his name, phone number, job ID, etc right away in case we were disconnected. Unsure what would happen if offer was accepted.  Original call was from 1-905-390-1844 (Financial Compa was displayed) then transferred to someone that called back from 888-440-2950.

THIS IS NOT VERIZON!!  My account is always paid on time every month so VZW would have no reason to call me to bother me for payment.  This number called me 3 times today, no one on the line the first time, and when they called times 2 & 3, they didn't leave any message.

Thats not true at all. It is fraud, we are on a family plan and we dont even pay for the bill. And the bill is automated through the persons CC. This is total fraud. Do not answer.

Oh and they called me twice today.

It is verizon. pay your bill. dont pay threw that number. call verizon and pay and the number will stop calling you. its automatic for anyone that is past due.

This phone number is pissing me off. i'm in school and get calls and no messages three times a day!!!!!!!

same here who is this and why is this allowed to happen over and over? there needs to be a cell phone listing or white pages for this crap tp stop. why isn't there some sort of protection verizon att etc etc??

As with others, this number called my mobile and did not leave a message.

This number just called me this morning and again just 15 minutes ago, they called my mothers cell phone too yesterday. And it called me during Class! i mean common i almost got my phone taken away! Dang number!

And everybody who reads this comment Dont anwser the phone to this number or any 888 number similar, the people who are using the number can hack your account by you just answering it.

Hopefully it will stop.

Verizon.  Can't pay my bill.  They will keep calling till I get paid.

verizon wireless. message:"important information about your account". they want to tell you how much is past due. even after you pay they will still call you with the same message. strange...

these people call me constantly and im sick of it.
When i answer they hang up or dont say anything, then hang up.

This number has called my cell 3 times a day, for 3 days. I didn't answer because I didn't know who this was, and they didn't leave a message.

hey that number called me twice, i never picked it up, but dont ever pick up the phone for numbers like that, they could hack into your account that way. It just called me so yaa. Everyone who reads this if any number like this calls u dont pic up, unless u do want to get your account hacked.
