Identified himself as Jack Smith, had mid east indian accent, said it was urgent that I return the call. Does not identify the company, just leaves this number

A gentleman with an east indian accent called, told me that I was up on three different felony charges, check fraud, money laundring and theft due to an online check loan from Universal Cash Advance. They also stated that if they didn't get any money asap that i would be arrested at work and that "officers" were on their way there now. I told them to give me an hour to call them back and when I did the recording on the phone said this is an unreliable number. They then called back within five mintues wanting their money, when I replied that banks wheren't open they got upset and told me to call back by nine. When I tried to call back all i got was a recording saying that they couldn't be reached and then christmas music. Then happened to call back about three minutes later. The last conversation I had with them I told them I had to wait to hear form my bank to call tomorrow because they are investigating their claim that I got the deposit from this Universal Cash Advance. There is no information recorded that we can find of any deposit from these people. They also wanted my credit card or a family member or friends card to make the payment.

This is a fraudelent company who usee scare tactics for people who might have taken out on line loans.They somehow got a hold of my name with a bogus address, city state and zip code-CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU I say.

DON'T GIVE any information to these scammers.  They are obviously calling from INDIA(heavy accent). This guy was RUDE and won't get to the point. They don't have any information on you that's why they can't give you any detailed information WHY they are even calling you in the first place!  They are SCAMMERS and they are threatening people for no reason!  Do not answer their call or change your number.

This man, Edward Stiffler, all I could think of after he said that was "american pie". He said that I would be picked up tomorrow if I didn't pay him by end of business today. I have the same thing happen to my last July and I ended up paying them 1085.00. I wish I would have looked up the information before I sent them that money. Is there any way that I can get that money back from them? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

This guy "Kevin Smith" from India called both my husband and myself today on our cell phones. He claimed that we took out a web payday loan and that we had defaulted on the loan. My husband asked him for his information so that our lawyer may call him back and make arrangments, and he hung up on us. We called him back again, and again, harrassing him asking for his information each time. Then we called him back pretending to be our lawyer, he told us that he was just an operator and had no knowledge of what we were talking about...God what a dumb a**!!

It looks as if the so call "The Department of Crime Prevention in Dallas Texas" has striked again.  This "Frank Miller" is a busy guy.  Something has to be done by this.  A 973-438-3624 from Newark, NJ came up and an heavy accent man wanted me to call this number 214-269-7624.  Once I called a Frank Miller with an Indian accent he told me I was used as an reference from a loan that my sister-in-law took out. I called my brother and gave him the number to find out whats going on and they told him his wife was a prime suspect for writing a hot check. Somrthing really needs to be done about this.

I wasn't home and normally nobody would pick up except they kept calling till someone answered. The caller ID said "unknown number".  So someone picked up and this guy asked for me, I wasn't home.  He then asked if there was a Misses, which there isn't. He then asked about a friend of mine.  Said there was something about a loan and a "financial crisis", and my name was the 1st name that my friend gave as a reference or to cosign.  My friend did not give anyone my name and had no idea what this was all about.

Fortunately, the person who answered was so pissed about the unknown number, and numerous callbacks that she wasn't exactly polite.  She took his message and told him I'd call back.  He said his name was "Dan Banks" from the "Department of financial crime prevention" and gave this number.

These people constantly call me at work even when I give them my cell phone number and ask them not to call me at work.. They called my work once and we had a temp in at the front desk who's name sounded like mine and they yelled at her accusing her of being me.. I have argued with them over and over again "when I can understand them"  They call me and tell me they will settle for 1/3 of the total amount, when I ask them to mail me or email a copy of what I owe they refuse to, they said it is against there compnay policy, what??? I have never heard that before in my life.. I have given them my cell phone number multiple times, and today they call my brother in law telling him they are with soem bogus crimnal investigation company.  They never called my cell phone today or my work but they did proceed to call him, enough is enough, what has anypne else done out there to make this stop?

I was notified by one of my friend's that a legal matter was being taken place under my name. So I called 214-269-7624 and the guy by the name of Frank Miller with a very Indian accent was trying to contact me on behalf of a payday loan that took place just a little less than 2 years ago. The funny thing is, there was no way that I could have made this loan being that the timeframe that they said the loan was approved and the funds were electronically transferred in my account was during the time I was defending my country in Iraq, nor do I remember making any loan while deployed. When I contacted the agency who they claimed I got the loan from, the lady from Sonic Cash (the loan company) said they get calls like this everyday claiming the same story as I said earlier. This is definately a scam from some very uncreative scam artists out of India. Please do not fall for this, it is completely false and illegal. By chance, can anybody tell me where I can report this fraud to?

A person calling some of my friends from "unknown" numbers gave them 214-269-7624 as a return number.  They claimed to my friends that that they owed money because they were a "reference" on a loan that doesn't exist.  Two both callers they identified themselves as "The Department of Crime Prevention in Dallas Texas" which doesn't exist.  Of course the loan is fake and my friends never cosigned for anything.  The caller had an Indian accent.  They were more than glad to share my personal information (alhtough outdated) as "proof", with each person they called and threatened to sue. All of the information they had about me was about 3-4 years old.

These people will call you if you every took out a payday loan, the cliam the are calling on behalf of the pay day loan.  They will tell you that you did not pay your bill and they will be taking legal action against you. They will ask you if you want to make a settlement cut it down and the money must be sent in money gram. They will keep call you harassing you. When they place you on hold the music is some type of indan music. The men who call are indian and use the common american names such as Jack Smith and Mike Scott.(They could be more creative) When you tell them you are not going to pay the began yelling at you and telling you they are going to take legal action against you. When I told them it was paid in full the got piss. Watch out ladies and gentlement.
