So Ive posted already about these annoying calls. But for like almost 3 weeks I was rid of them. It was beautiful. Spoke too soon. The b*****ds started up again now from a "blocked" number. I can't block a blocked number?!? Grr. So...(true story) I answered the phone when the Indian medial company called and I said "yea I have had surgery -I just recently had a thumb removed from my a**."  They didn't like that type of surgery so they hung up. Called 10 min later - I said the same thing. If they won't stop calling me I need to have some sort of amusement with it. Good luck everyone!

Today i got the call from...0000121233...  WHT!   I also got the call from    "1"  ...  then sometimes.. 214-328-4552  or 214-201-4574, 803 832 7425, 786-876-9054  or whatever..  these two criminals (at least I knew they are two) one with very Indian accent guy who is forceful and threatens for whatever the issues are. sometimes, medical issues and other time is auto registration issue. another one is female who has a Spanish accent calling for the same ind of stupid but forceful phone calls.  I think they are using like google voice or others to be a virtual phone numbers to calling people.  I don't know how they obtained the phone number list, but they seems busy calling everyday 5-6 times.  I agree with using the whistle to bow hard as we can when they call again.   We all should do that to tell these : we know what you did...

I too have had these annoying calls. They had some very personal medical information on me when they called. Said I was entitled to money from ???????? Could hardly understand them and the connection was very bad. So i hung up. I also got very rude to them and asked a few questions which they just ignored. I have a list of 12 different phone numbers and one from another country. So far I just don't answer anymore calls if I don't know the number. But is really a pain to get these calls at all hours and almost every day. Either on my cell phone or land line. They never say who is calling.

I get the same calls just about every day from some "medical" company. person has an india accent, told him not to call here again, not giving any info out. said the reason they keep calling is I haven't given them the info they need.

now that's funny! I think I'm going to do that because I also have been getting calls for the same person. I'll have my  whistle ready to blow!  LoL

Reporting this number to the FTC or your local Police department is useless. The only people that can stop this is your local phone company. Unfortunately, they do not care about stopping these calls. Call your local Representatives and Senators in order to get legislation that would force the phone company(s) to block these calls. The local phone company(s) have the technology to stop these calls. If you doubt this, imagine how fast they would act if this was a threat to the President or national security.

You might even try forwarding these calls to their offices so they get how frustrated people are about this problem.

This same guy with an eastern accent has called me several times over the past few months. Every time I tell him to delete my number and never call again but a couple weeks go by and he calls again. He said that I am entitled to money over a surgery that I never even had. Complete scammer!

This number has been calling me repeatedly claiming to be from "Medical Compensation Company".  I have repeatedly told them not to call me again, yet they continue.  A similar situation I encountered a couple years back turned out to be a terrorist cell attempting to scam people out of money to fund their terrorist acts.  Although the number registers to the US, I believe the calls are simply re-routed from a foreign country to an invalid US number.  I will be contacting my local police department.  I recommend others do the same.

i have been getting calls from this number for the past 2 months, I have an app the alerts me, called Mr. Number, that prevents this from ringing to my phone, the other alternate numbers they have called me on are 646-254-5765 and 848-459-4922. I have blocked all these numbers and continue to get calls from them. Each time, I have received the same response, that they will remove me from their list but they do not. The last person mocked in saying that there is nothing I can do about it, that the police will not do anything and that I supposedly cannot trace the company to sue for harassment.

I just reported them to the FTC and also my states attorney general office.  

Call the FTC and file a formal complaint and if they get enough they will investigate these jerks.  
FTC # is 877-382-4357 (option 1 for English, then option 3.)  Hold time is QUICK and they will ask a few questions and for the numbers calling.  If you can write down all the numbers they are using, give this to the FTC.  They will give you a report number and everytime you get a call, call them again and use that report number to add to your complaint.

214-328-4552 every time they call it is from a different number. I just cuss them out and hang up now. Its sort of gratifying actually.

These A***OLES are driving me nuts. They call from numerous numbers all over the USA, and everyday at different times.  When I tell them they have the wrong number they refuse to listen and get rude.  Sometimes I just hang up they call back and are RUTHLESS.  I have been getting these calls since late November, and block every number that calls yet they keep calling from new numbers and blocked numbers.  HOW DO WE STOP THEM.  This is ridiculous. These harassing unsolicited calls should be ILLEGAL!

They keep calling asking for Melodie. I tell them they have the wrong number and they hang up, only to call again multiple times a day sometimes within just a few minutes.Been about a week of this rubbish.

Been getting these calls for almost a week....everything in above responses!  I even tried speaking some foreign language (gibberish actually....some Chinese) and they still keep it up!  Think I'm going to call the phone company and see if I can only accept calls that identify themselves!

I have unwanted received calls from this number and others.  I save them all in my Contacts as "DO NOT ANSWER", and simply cancel the call whenever I get one.

I never answer any call that does not have a proper caller ID. When I called this number back, the call is not completed as the phone company message says that this is not a valid phone number, it is not listed. The number has been high jacked.

foreign accent with sounds of call center in background, bad connection too.  He knew my name and said he was from the "medical compensation department".
I was going to play along and see how long I could keep him on hold but he asked a question and apparently could not hear my response--he said hello a couple times then hung up.

Received multiple unwanted calls from this number regarding medical procedures. I am on the do not call list.

I have received calls from this fake "medical company" at least three times a day for the last two weeks. I have tried being polite and asking to be put on the do not call list, I have tried being firm, I have tried being angry, I have tried blocking their number, I have tried calling them back (didn't work). Who ever can find a way for me to contact this company so I can rip them a new a***ole, let me know. This is harassment. And I have told them no less than 10 times that I have NEVER had ANY of those medical procedures! So WHY BOTHER CALLING ME?!

I received a call from them and simply didn't answer it. My msg says that I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I suggest the next time you get a number such as this, answer it and have a nice little whistle ready and blow it into the receiver as loud as you can and then leave the phone off the hook til they hang up or just keep blowing the whistle. I guarantee they won't stay on the line for long.

1/29/14 -- I have had the same problem with them. Except when I ask politely about how to get removed off the list - they hang up on me and call me back in a few hours.  Literally they've called me 4-5 times today. I?ve tried blocking their number, but then an alternate number calls.  This has been going on for over a week. I?m so incredibly irate with them. Next time they call I?m going to write down their name and ask for a call back number. This is AWFUL!!!  I hope you have better luck then I am.

Have received many calls from this number also...man speaking with a strong foreign accent, could not hardly understand him. I told him that I was on a do not call list and as the above comment, ignored the statement completely. Told him not to call me anymore but that does not seem to matter to whomever this is.  calls received from this number as of 1-29-14, 5.

01/29/2014  Received a call from this number, stated he was with some type medical company. When he began asking about some type of medical procedures we've had, I stopped him and told him I was on the Do No Call list. He ignored me and began talking again. When I informed him again about the Do Not Call list, he said "I don't care about that!". When I told him I didn't want to talk to them and for them not to call again, his reply was "I'm required to call you, and I will be calling you again." Pushing him further about not calling me, he began directing profanity at me. Looking up this number, it appears that they are in Dallas, Tx. The caller had a strong foreign accent to where I had to have him repeat virtually everything he said (except for the profanity). This is the 2nd call I have received from them.
