Received a call from 214-446-1448 said "this is Troy Anderson with legal services following up on a case placed on my desk asking you to return my call so you can give me a statement to add to your file in your defense, before I file a lawsuit in your county "...no company name, have not received any papers,although I think he mentioned a case number... asked to call the 214 number. Sounds like a zombie debt collector trying to scare us into something...Weird that he asked for a statement of defense for his file....

It is fraud - these scammers can't even get the lingo right!  If your sister was being sued, she would receive a court summons, not a subpoena, via process server (or in some cases, certified or registered mail).  She also wouldn't get a heads up that she'd be served either.  Your caller has also violated your sister's privacy by disclosing information to a party other than the intended recipient.  Next time he calls, tell him that he's been reported to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

Company calls from a local number but never leaves a voicemail. When the call is answered they ask to speak to my sister saying that he is an attorney from AS and Associates that is working to help consumers that were taken advantage of from High interest loans such as pay day loans and title pawn. He says that he's able to settle for a lower amount and that he needs to contact my sister before they subpoena her. I have asked several times for the information to be given to me and he has surrendered way to much information and and different times given completely different information. I believe this is total fraud!

Keep getting recorded voice mails for some Heidi Spicer (some legal matter) on daily basis.....from different phone numbers.
there is no live person on the other side, one could shout at to get the f...off
After a month or so of harrassment....sent them a text message to verify if they had right number, but still kept getting these calls.
Blocked the number (206-801-6708) thro' provider.....
now got the same call from this number: 214 446 1448.

Mr. Micelli won't stop calling and leaving messages! Who are these people? The call log says it's from a local number but they keep leaving the 214 number. I never received paperwork.

Just received 2 consecutive calls from 2 different numbers. I did not pick up but they left a voicemail that initially was cut off. The person then said "Call back so we can have a real conversation" to 214-446-1448. Nothing else.

Received a call and a voicemail from (214) 446-1448 stating that if I did not call back to have a conversation, they would pursue further action.  The caller left no name... did not state the name of the company.  No such number was logged on my phone.  Call appeared to be a call from a debt collector.

Most likely a scam.  Any legitimate company would have mailed you dunning letters for some time before going on to file a lawsuit - and you wouldn't receive a call beforehand either, the process server would just show up with the summons.  NEVER pay any caller who refuses to: identify their company, mailing and physical address, and who refuses to MAIL proof that you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt - they are in violation of the FDCPA.

I keep getting messages from this number, using my former surname when I was married, I have been divorced 4 years and haven't used that name since.  I have never received anything for this guy. I think he says his name is Mr. Micelli.  SCAM?????

Received a call from a 904 number.  Voicemail left (recorded), stating that I HAD been sent paperwork at either home or place of employment and that I needed to call this number immediately.  Love these messages telling me that I have received paperwork when I have gotten NOTHING.  

They have called me several times, calling from different numbers originally (caller ID) and requesting I call this number back. They say they need to issue me paperwork. This is a SCAM! Do not give these people ANY information. I am going to try and report them. They hung up real fast after I told them to go ahead and send that paperwork.

Some jack*** who had to pause to remember what his name and company name was supposed to be. Chaz Officer was what he said, calling to give me some kind of chance to talk to an attorney before they serve me with papers...brilliant. IDIOTS!
