Has anyone got a call from 469-919-5773   Courier service saying they want to deliver documents between 12-4...
I have been reading posts on these courier services from TEXAS   Total SCAM...... Please let me know if you
ever received a call from this number.

That caller was not Dorsey it was Hewitt debt collection agency. I don't know why they had to go through so much with the ICS courier story and the lies about serving me papers. If I owe a debt just send me a letter of proof and I will take care of it as soon as and when I can. I checked all my creditors and no one is using them and I AM current on the few bills I do have. Even if this were an old bill that I didn't pay, they don't have to go to such extremes, by pretending to do and be something your not is not gonna get any money out of ME any faster but I was told by the police department that this is a well known scam and if your ever going to be served they will not call you they will just try to find you and show up, they don't schedule appointments and run around like this...A friend of one of the police officers I was talking with said she had been receiving the same calls and the bottom line is they want you to be afraid that you are going to be sued and so you will without thinking or checking to see if the debt is legiitimant just pay them some money over the phone........Well I told them I don't make offers over the phone with people I don't know without proof and proving they are a legitimant business, since all of this, I have report this company to the FTC, BBB, my states attorney general and Homeland Security...

I was called an told the same thing in 2012, 2013 and again this month 2014...They NEVER SHOWED UP. I told them to come to my job and serve me the papers, but expect to be searched, although the courier I talked to said he was from ICS representing Hewitt and also said it was a sealed envelope and he didn't know what it was about, and I cut him off and told him ok bring it to my job but expect to be searched and questioned and my employer will not let you see me and they will not. we waited for him along with the local police officers whom were on standby. he never showed up, he calls again and makes threats and says he will be at my home in 2 hours and if I wasn't there he will give the package to my neighbors. Well I said ok, come on, I'll be waiting, me my old friend that is a retired policeman, my dad, my boyfriend and his brothers. We were not planning to attack him but they were gonna find out, why he had been harassing me and my relatives. He never showed. called again after that and I said I was waiting, he just hung up.

I got this call from them as well saying that they would he would capital and I informed them that I had found chapter 7 and he said I was lying

I reveived a phone call from Patrick from  214 473 4376 asking for my fiance an i asked who this was and why they were calling me an not her and he wouldnt answer my question just told me to be home between 12-4 tomorrow. I just hung up on him an he called back 5 times in a row and left me voicemails threatening to contact the County That I live in.

Just receive a call today from this caller(Patrick) stating" I need to be home between 1-3pm that he will be delivering documents. Also this caller(Patrick) called my job.

I got this call from  "nick" 855-597-4553 ext. 306 and a call from "Patrick" 1-214-473-4376 from Prominent National Couriers at my job telling me I need to be home between 12-4 because they have a package to deliver to me and I need to sign for it. I called my local police department and they helped me find this site. So I am adding to the warning list that this is a scam. Do not give them any information. Hang up.

They kept calling for my sister who happened to have breast cancer its a scam dont listen to them

Just receive a message from a Patrick from 214-473-4376 and he said that he will be coming to my home between 12 and 4 to serve me papers and if I am not there he will come to my place of employment. Can this happen?

First up, no, they are not going to come to your home, or your work.  This is nothing but intimidation to try to scare the heck out of you so you will pay them.  You first say, "I deny I owe this debt" and you keep saying this just in case they really are respresenting a debt collection agency.   But they claim to be doing the delivering of papers, so should they threaten to show up at your place of residence or work, state that you will be calling the police/sheriff if they do.   You wouldn't need any ID, period, if you were being served anyhow. Relax, and don't bother to call them back.  This is also covered on the FBI website (at http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710 ) with this scam and a bunch of others.  This group of scammers makes up names, uses Magic Jack and spoofed phones and just tries to scare you into sending them money.  Shoulkd you agree to pay them, it most likely will be via a prepaid VISA or some other phony "payment" format.

I've got a call from Hewitt capital and said I needed to pay for a dept of a loan I took out saying from a pushloanz I ask for info they said they couldn't give me that so what do I do

I received this call too, and come to find out it is a collection agency by the name of Hewitt Capital. ( I contacted the original creditor and after a few phone calls found out my debt was sold to Debt Management Partners than sold to Hewitt Capital) The company is using illegal techniques to collect, by saying that I am pending criminal charges for the debt. One of them being intent to defraud.  This company will not give any contact info as well. They are also breaking my Automatic stay for my bankruptcy.

I did get this call, and did not understand why, so many scams out there, I did not call back, someone please stop them from calling people's homes.
