Same story as everyone else, mystery call showing caller ID of: ROQ ROQUEMORE 214-550-1581. It went to VoiceMail, and a female, with a deep southern accent, left a message that she was 'hired to find me, and it was not for credit or collection.' She ended with it was 'urgent' that I call back as soon as possible.  I found this site after Googling the number so I deleted the messages and blocked the number.

Did you not read where CJ said "former room mate"?  Repeated calls by debt collectors trying to trace people when they are told to stop calling is a violation of not only the TCPA but also the FDCPA.

I got a voicemail looking for a former roommate regarding some loan.  I have nothing to do with the loan so LEAVE ME ALONE.

I keep receiving phone calls from Miss. West "investigating the insurance claim" This is not my debt I do not owe anyone money. The person you are looking for has not been in contact in months, yet you continue to call and lie and deceive me. If you are calling me pumping me for information you just blew it with lying to me. I don't play games, I don't have the time for your shenanigans.
What ever this company is I'm sure it's not a insurance company. I've saved the repeated messages (lies) I can't help you do your job. Stop calling!!!!!! grrrrrr!!!!!

Received multiple VM at my home number (I almost never give out) this week from a Mr. Ed Knight indicating he was looking for a family member.  He said he was '. . . not a bill collector . . . .'  CallerID displayed 210-550-5593; yet he gave a call back number of 866/577-1636.  Check internet and found it to be Roquermore & Roquermore, Inc.

I got this call but he ask if I had seen a particular car parked at my neighbors. He knew I was the only neighbor to this house,knew their address and the car has been over there but I told hime I didn't know anything because I didn't really know who he was and I don't really "know " these neighbor. I do know some of their relatives.

Got a call from 214-550-1564 near 10 am CST, from a guy looking for a KIMBERLY WILLIAMS, who after I asked questions, found that this apparently is someone who resides or resided in an apartment unit I had a few years back (in North side of IL).  He then said that she used MY NUMBER somehow, which populated with MY NAME to give for some sort of credit she's looking to get!!!  WHAAA!!? I informed that I knew of no such person - and this is obviously a SCAM!!  Geez!!!

I've soooo had it with losers who are filty scam artists!!!  And those looking to use someone else's good name and/or assets to gain something of value ILLEGALLY!!!  It's fu****** WAR if you fu**** with me!!!  I mean that to every degree!!

My husband and I have received several calls from John Abrams at this number, looking for an old friend of mine. He refuses to stop calling me and threatened to look into my home address! I haven't spoken to the person he is looking for for over 10 years but he is calling everyone on my friends facebook page. This is harrassment and rude!! How do I get rid of this guy??

Roquemore and Roquemore www.roquemore.com is an asset and reposessor company who uses URI Nationwide aka United Repossessors Inc tow company.  Two web addresses for them per who is database look up.  URI Nationwide then lists contact as www.unitedreposessorsinc.com which appears to be their main page.  

Based in Dallas area they work for Security Service Federal Credit Union also of Dallas and in other States.  Probably work for other lenders as well but found this one in particular.  

Felony Tresspass charges against a driver in Colorado.... not sure of outcome with that guy.  Roquemore also contacts family members frequently even though they have located a party.  Apparently the driver did the same thing after talking with a party, went to a neighbor following that visit.  Violates what a tow company or a Debt collector can do... you can talk to a neighbor to locate a party but you cant locate a party and then go to the neighbors.

Roq Roquemore is the most obnoxious company!!!  They have the most disgusting, ruthless, human beings (Oh, wait a minute, I would not even classify them as human beings!!!) working for them!!!  So rude, there should not even be a company allowed like this the way they treat people.  If you see the name Roq Roquemoe, or the #214-550-1564 on your caller idea, don't bother answering your phone, as these people are sharks and a disgrace to human society!!!

This call is coming from Roquemore and Roquemore out of garland Texas. They are a proffesional investigative and SKIP TRACING company. If you haven't paid your car note, these people will call you and tell you the most random thing they can to scare you into telling them where your vehicle is. Example: they are from an insurance collection agency and the bank has filed a claim on you and in less than a week the insurance company will buy your vehicle from the bank take your name off the title and if you are pulled over driving after this the cops will take your car away because you no longer own it. This is all crap of course. Haven't you ever driven your moms car? If you got pulled over did they take it? Uh no because they dont do that, unless it's stolen which the bank nor some insurance claim company can claim it to be. Why do you think there are repo companies? Because the bank cannot do anything unless the vehicle is in their possesion so they pay someone to put it back in their possesion if they could just file a claim and report it stolen this would be done all the time and there would be no such thing as repo men.

called twice in a row. did a *9 on call.  I did hear a man say hello.

They have also been harrassing me and my family saying they r taking away a car i have never owned or purchased. They dont appear legit.

I received a very rude phone call from this number today. Same thing, investigator looking for someone I had never heard of. Said I jointly owned property with another person whose name I had never heard of either. I told him good luck on finding those people and he replied that I wasn't very forthcoming with information. WOW....hope no one is really paying this loser for his "investigator" skills.

I received 3 harrassing calls from 214-5501576 claiming he is an investigator

I did reverse lookup on 214-550-1576 it listed as Roq Roquemore from Dallas, TX. Then I general searched in yahoo which brought me here. Thanks to those who wrote here I wouldn't have known this was an issu otherwise.

Well its a unlisted landline with a residential address in Irving, Tx.
That was all I was able to locate on Intelius for free

There are at least 5 listings in the white pages for Roquemores in Irving, TX - none start with first intial R or name ROQ.    
This number is not associated with the listings I found
