Been getting calls from this number the past 3 days on my cell phone and at work. I spoke to a guy but didn't get his name. Said he represents a law firm that is handling a internet payday loan that I have not paid. They have some court papers for me and needed to know when I would be at work so they I can be served. Said I also owe 900.00 dollars but he can settle the case for 400.00 that day. I told him that I don't have 400 and all I can do is pay portions of it. So the next day I get a call from Mr. Williams saying that he was told that I am willing to settle my debt and he can work out some payment arrangements with me. I can pay 30 at first, 50 on my next payday and then 100 on paydays after that. So I went and bought a prepaid card from Walmart, thinking that I should just pay what I can. Then I realized that I never take calls like that and I don't even know if this is for real. So I started reading  these posts and can't believe I was about to pay these people.

Just got a call from the same guy Anthony Paneli w/J&R. Says he's out of Dallas, Tx going to serving papers at my job today.... not the first time i've got this call.... dont like it.

Man by the name of Anthony Paneli w/J&R processing called me saying there were legal documents on his desk. But I have no debt so he's lying. I did recently move from another state, so on my resume it states that. So, I'm guessing if you've sent out your resume they are calling and scamming you.

These two guys called me from this number. One told me he was a processor and the other the supervisor. They told me that they were coming to my job to serve me court papers. But i could stop them from doing that if i pay them over 500 dollars. Then the guy who was suppose to be the supervisor got back on the line and said they a bench warrant will be issued to me if they cant get the money from me.

This guy keep calling my job and harrasing me talking about they going to serve me with papers coming to my job sick and tired of them.

these guys are frauds calling you threating a legal summons all B.S.

I received this same message and when I call back no one answers 2145565664. Now this person is leaving messages stating he will arrive at my job with two uniformed officers and my supervisor need to be present. Message left on my phone. My name is Mr. Ward of carrier scheduled to get some legal documents coming out of Mecklenburg County.I need you to return my call, a summons been place against your name but he doesn't know who place the summons. REALLY.. Summons are sent through the mail or certified letter in Mecklenburg County.

Got a call on my google voice and it forwarded it to voice. didn't answer. said it was a Mr. Ward. here is the transcription.

Soo is this a scam???

They are frauds. About as dangerous as a case of athletes foot and just as annoying. Just tell them to "Bring it on..you'll be waiting". They may try to wreak some vengeance on you by calling you or your place of employment to harass you, but let them know that you're all laughing at them. They'll move on.

Just got a call from a guy who said that he was coming with an armed escort to serve me with papers at my place of work and to have my supervisor and the head of security there.  I have asked them before not to call me at my place of work but they continue to do so.  I believe once before they said the people who are trying to contact me are from Hyperion.

This guy claimed to be Brian Davis from Dallas and said he needed to get me with me about legal  business relating to Tarrant County. I am sure he is a debt  collector trying to get info... call the phone company and you can block a certain amount of telephone numbers.

Received 2 calls at my workplace.  Tried to speak with man representing himself as a law enforcement official, on the first call but he got out of control & threatening so I asked him to not call my place of employment, send the bill to me, etc.  He got louder and ruder, scary actually, so I said Good bye & hung up.  He immediately called back and my supervisor took the call.  Same thing.  She informed him  appropriately that he should not call, etc., he got ride, so she ended the call.  I don't owe anyone anything having just had all debts discharged thru a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy which I would have explained to the rude, threatening man if he had let me talk.  If he'd let me talk he could have probably wrote me off and collected his commission for his efforts.  Too bad dude.  You screwed up.

I got a number from some unprofessional woman who was coughing on the phone.  She sounded very around the way and she lacked customer service.  She kept throwing out my job name, but not my home address.  She hung up on me twice.  Her name was Jessica Parker, (so she said).  She said that she was a third party but had no knowledge of who put the summons on me.  First, the last i heard when folks recieve summons, nbo one calls you and tells you that you are going to get one.  Summons come as an element of suprise.  Secondly these are the measure that they use when ;you are late or missed a pyday lon payment.  Thirdly I called back and the call kept going to the same ghetto woman, (Ms. Parker who hung up on me 3 times), the background was quite and this let me know that it was not a call center.  This is a bully tactic that the company is using to scare you into paying your bill.

I rcv'd same thing...called it back and all they say when they answer is..."how can I help you"  odd!

rec'd a call from this number twice today about a summons however when I call back they dont give a company name on voicemail and dont answer the phone..  who are they?
