car warranty scam...my number is on the do not call list.  can't figure out who these people are!!

SCAM! i got a call from this number about a u.s. car insurance... i don't live in the u.s...

Didn't answer ... I am sick of these calls ... during the day WHILE I AM WORKING ... GO AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a brand new cell phone and they called me !

They called me also..Brian when they call you back record them ..File a complaint with FCC AND FTC. Keep a log of the numbers they call from. Once day soon we're going to put a stop to all of this mess! Give them fake banking account information get a name and keep them on the phone as long as possible.

I give up (havent owned a car in 5 years) - I am now going to ask the following questions when they call.  If they want to waste my time, I'm going to waste theirs:

1)    Can you read me the full details of the warranty?

2)    Does the warranty apply to damaged parts resulting from my drunk driving?

3)    Apply if car spontaneously catches fire?

4)    Apply if I intentionally damage the car to claim the insurance money?

5)    Apply to slashed tires?

6)    Apply to stolen tires?

7)    What if the car is stolen and the thief tries to use the warranty?

8)    Offer road-side assistance?

9)    Offer discounts at hotels/restaurants?

10)    GPS tracking?

11)    Free oil changes?

12)    Aiport shuttle service?

13)    Free toaster?

14)    Cash back reward points?

15)    Do you have this warranty?

16)    Do you recommend it?

17)    Can I put myself on your warranty and split the cost w/ you?

18)    Can you tell me your warranty number?

19)    Can I have your social security number?

20)    Can I have your bank account number?

21)    Do you want to do something this weekend?

I also received a call from this number.  I am 100% positive they got my number from my resume  on Monster!

More and more scammers are preying on those seeking work!  Monster.com could stop this!

can warranty scam.  I asked them not to call, but still getting calls.  They disconnect the call if I ask the name of the company.

by the way, this call came from NNE Illinois: NW suburbs of chicago  the ovarlay is 224.  this was an addition from the last box.

I know that old car scam.  It will keep on calling- its just trying to nag you.  The caller ID siad "Teleeurope BV".  I was confused by that.  I didn't expect it to be a car scam.  i have other #'s, too:

I wish these people would stop calling me. It's a car warranty scam. How did these dip s**ts get my number and why don't they ever stop calling? I think these same people call me sometimes with other scams, because I get a call from some other number all the time, which says it's a "travel related call". What does that even mean? Some stupid fake vacation scam too. DONT PICK UP!

i got a call from this number on my cell phone, but i never pick up, if i do not know the number... I will blocked any phone number that isn't anyone that i know. so whoever these people are, better give it up now cuz u wont be talking to me. ha

I received call 2day I've been getting calls for over 2 years. This is regarding fake auto warranty scam, they're the same people that calling selling fake vacation packages, and credit cards. I've already filed a report with FCC,keep record of all the numbers you receive calls from.Next time they call record the call play along give them a fake checking account information.Contact your local State attorney general, and local fbi, and u s service! BLOW THEIR PHONES UP AND MAKE THEM GET OFF THEIR BUTTS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS THEY'RE SUPPOSE TO BE PROTECTING US AND THEY'RE NOT.AT&T NEEDS TO BE CONTACTED ALSO. WHICH I'VE ALREADY DONE!

They call about a factory warranty expiring. I asked to be removed off the list and then was disconnected. Somehow they have gotten my work number too. VERY IRRITATING!

I get this one too -- at least once a week.  So far only in "missed calls."  Never tried to call back.

Got 3 calls from this number on my cell and I don't know who it is, I get messages from everyone that calls or at least the caller ID lets me know who to call back. With this number no messages were left so I didn't bother calling back, if they really want to talk LEAVE A MESSAGE...Thank you

I received a call from this number, but did not answer as i was at work and had my phone silent.  Usually I do not answer calls that I do not know, especially on my mobile.

I am also from Michigan but haven't signed up on any online resume sites or anything like that. I am extremely careful as to who I give my number out to and being that I have a landline, I NEVER, EVER give out my cell phone number at hospitals, Dr.'s visits, etc as a contact number. How do these people keep finding me??? No answer when I picked up the phone and said hello so I called back and didn't even get a phone ringing or a voicemail message.

Got the same call on my cell @ 2:57pm on 2/18/09  They didn't leave a message.  Somehow my cell number got out there, and I don't have a warranty on my car!
