Payday loans are illegal in a lot of states for a reason.  Charging exorbitant fees and interest rates is a predatory and abusive tactic that preys on people in desperate financial situations.  Some of around here "do our research" and have learned that PDL companies are largely not on the up and up.  But hey, keep playing the only card in your deck of rhetoric.  Everyone's a deadbeat and you're a slick businessman, right?

Too bad people are reporting getting calls about loans they DID pay back.  But nice try. Is Jon your real name?

Thanks for using one of Nichols and Grant's b.s. tactics in your post.  "Malicious intent to defraud" is a fake offense.  You have evidence otherwise, list the statute and the state.

Again, are you familiar with the concept of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act?  People bragging about how much money they make are usually the ones who make their money by breaking rules and laws.  But thanks for letting us all know that we should pursue the individual collectors who work for these companies.  Want to brag some more?  We'd love to hear about your assets.

Who warns someone they are about to be sued?  Please. The only would-be thieves are the ones trying to scam people into giving their bank account information out over the phone.  Speaking of which, don't you have work to do in the call center?

But the Thomas Pritchards who can legitimately collect debt do so by validating the debt and following the FDCPA.  So, if you're the Thomas Pritchard who can do that, why don't you start with disclosing the debt collection business address, the original creditor, a valid phone number, etc.?

And you probably don't pay your bills. which makes you just as sleezy as people who do not collect debt the right way. not all debt collectors are scum just like not all debtors got in debt on purpose. you my friend are not the brightest tool in the shed.

This guy Terry Nguyen (Suposedly) left this number as a contact phone number in a House for rent communicatuion I have been having whith him. I researched the number and happened on this page. It seems he has moved onto realestate fraud he is offering a 1100 dollar a month 3 bedroom house in Orange county ca.THATS ABOUT HALF OF WHAT ONE USUALLY RENTS FOR. I think this is a ongoing scam because I also found  a 3 bed room house in LA that listed on another web page last month withthe same phonne number and a different name. Alejandra Ortiz or something like that. Basically the number is now being used in realeastae fraud sceems I think the guy is probably gathering people personal info and using the house as a ruse to get it. People are used to getting a cavity check when renting so its a perfect scam. I am glad I found this page I will cut communications with him.

He also left this number 5418447690

Have a great day!!

jon...the pdls is not a business in the 12 states where its ILLEGAL,they do not have a license to loan money in these states thats why they dont deserve to get paid back, they will never take you to court because all you have to say YOUR HONOR I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THIS PDL HAS NO LICENSE TO LOAN MONEY IN MY STATE..judge says case dismissed,,pdl fined thousands of dollars for violating the law
i say pay back what you borrowed the pdl does not make a profit in the ILLEGAL STATES
you told me you work for a bank,,your starting to sound like a low life third party debt collector who isnt making any money..

jon...if i did go to a illegal casino and they did not pay me my winnings i do not have to go to a web-site,word of mouth would close the casino down..
yes i do blame the banking industry for the economic crisis, they started it with that mortgage where you pay only the interest,,im not really sure what the procedure was my house is paid off so i wasnt involved with that scam..remember the debtors were working and paying there bills before the banks screwed everything up and many people lost there jobs and cannot pay the loans off now..thanks to the banks
PEOPLE remember always pay your rent/mortgage,,utility bills first and make sure you have food for the month and money in your pocket for the month before you pay any debt collection company and always pay what you can afford,.not what they tell you to pay..
                     FAMILY FIRST,,DEBT COLLECTORS LAST..

Well using your logic aaa, if you went to a casino owned by native americans, and you lose, should you not pay.  With that being said Im sure you be the first to start a website against Native Americans and their casinos if they didnt pay you your winnings because"gambling" is illegal in your state as soon as you walk out their doors.  And dont blame the banking industry for people being in debt.  People took out loans, that they knew they would not be able to afford once the fixed interest increased.   Its a catch 22....who do you blame the gun or the trigger man?

jon...you do agree that the PDLs do operate in the illegal states, you also agree that there is a lot of scams

i dont think its a bunch of people trying not to pay there debts,a lot of people lost there jobs because of the institution you work for.

yes some people would take advantage of the laws prohibiting the PDL to loan money in certain states

like i say you pay back what you borrowed, the PDL does not make a profit in the illegal states

I dont know either of the people that you are talking about, verbage not anywheres the same.  I worked for a bank for many years and my son took out one of these stupid payday loans.  I agree, predatory lending is quite obvious here, but to me at least, its sounds like a bunch of people trying not to pay their debts.

jon....if you read some of my posts i did say that even though you borrowed from the pdl in the illegal states you should pay back what you borrowed...ex..borrowed 500.00 pay back 500.00 only do not pay any processing fees...do not pay any interest...and subtract any payments made..the pdl should not make a profit..

And a PDL does not meet the standard you just defined. It is a loan .... credit issued to a consumer. Default is a civil matter not a felony.

JON if we do owe money we should pay that is right, but the lowlife scammers we have calling us and we DONT OWE or have NEVER TAKEN OUT A PAYDAY LOAN, we should not be scammed into paying them back and how these idiots get our personal info is beyond me. What the gentleman  (aaa)wrote above you is correct. they are lowlifes and they should go back under the rock they crawled out from. we all pay our bills, but we are smarter then these scammers, at least most of us are, and we will not pay something we do not owe.
yes my parents raised me to always pay what we owe.
have a good day Jon

I dont know if its just me, but I feel like it I borrow money or take out a loan, I should pay.  Maybe I was just raised that way.  Seems to me aaa, you are just trying to help people get out of paying their bills.  I dont agree with all the "tactics" used by bill collectors, but seems like alot of people dont want to pay their debt.  My mother raised me different.

these low lifes buy the debt from the cash store for pennies on the dollar, lets say you owed 500.00 they bought the debt for 50.00 to 80.00 dollars and there trying to make a profit of 400 to 450 dollars from you.
these fools make only 7.00 an hour and they depend on you to send them money so they get there 15% commission and being collections is down there not making the money they want to make,, so they come on here and post there stupid lies.

jamie...like i said yes they must send you a verification of the debt,, validation you have to send a certified letter

jamie go to ask.com type in how to validate a debt from a debt collection company then scroll down to letter 9 from credit info center and there you will read how to write to these low lifes to validate the debt,,i would always send it certified requesting signature upon delivery that is your proof that you sent a validation letter to the debt collection company,,
its under the fdcpa act...15usc.1692.sec809(b).
jamie i back you up 100% but you do have to send a letter for validation only, not verification you can request that over the phone
keep up the fight against these lying low life third party debt collectors
