Nope but I just got a call from the same number and when I tried calling back a recorded message say "this number is not taking incoming calls"?

Don't kno why they calling.

These calls are from Halstead Financial.   I contacted them and requested documents related to the alleged debt, creditor name, etc and told them I will take legal action if they are not provided and the calls do not cease.  The contact name is Steven Price; here is his e-mail address  sprice@halstedfinancial.com.  So far he has not responded other than to, get this, ask what phone number should be deleted: they call me every day and he claims not to have my phone number. Debt collection agencies have a legal obligation to provide you with documentation of a full accounting of statements of the credit card they are representing.  DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR FORM LETTER THAT SIMPLY STATES A TOTAL AMOUNT THEY CLAIM IS  DUE. I recently worked with one of my card companies and found out that over $1200 in payments over a 7 months period had never been recorded even though my bank statements showed payments were made and because their records were inaccurate it got sent to debt collection.  You have a right to stop any payments until those documents are provided.

Called my work! Automated message saying a file would be delivered. I was able to hit zero to get to a rep. Immediately, they became ignorant when I told them not to call me at my work. "don't flex those telephone muscles" he said. I reminded him that he called at my work and then it got heated with his ignorance "don't talk like that, because were not face to face and I know you would not talk that way to me face to face". I said, "let's bring it on" and he hung up on me. So, out of concern, I called back to get the name of the company. His wife answered and she, too, was ignorant. I asked her how to spell the name of her company and she wouldn't say. She just kept saying, real low and fast "helstead financial". Then, asked again at which time she hung up on me. So, I called back and this time I got the husband who spoke a little more clearly "halstead financial". So, I hung up. These people are low lives, and are trying to collect on expired debt. How they get away with calling me at work? I don't know.

This number belongs to Halsted Financial Services in IL.  They are a collection agency!!!
