I received a call today from an unknown number, i don't really answer these calls, but just recently i've getting a lot of them so i thought i would answer to see who it was and to try to stop them calling.
The man claimed to be 'Mike Taylor' and asked for me in my former name, cos i change my name last year.
He said he was thanking me for giving my support for placing an Advert in a Magazine, I think it was called 'Children in Crisis', i played games with him cos i thought he was a Scammer, as i had never agreed or even heard of this Magazine or Advert, once i came clean and accused him of being a Scammer he 1st denied it and then changed his story and said that i had not agreed yet to placing an ad, i said his number came up on my Mobile as unkown, it was at that point he became abusive and called me 'A Freak', he then hung up.
I won't be answering unkown numbers again.
These people are a menace to society and should be stopped.

I've gotten 28 calls in 2 days from a 'Eric Jones' saying that I need to contact him immediately (or have my attorney) or else he feels sorry for whatever befalls me... The numbers he called me from are: 1 (334) 422-9893 (sf California) 1 (415) 972-3898 (linden Alabama)

Anyone else have these issues?!?

had 3 calls on 8-16-11 from same middle eastern accented guy who started out doing survey on diabetics, the first call I listened and answered several questions until it became clear he appeared to be trying to sell me a monitor that you did not prick your finger with.  Told him was not interested and to not waste his time.  Two calls later same day, told him that I was not interested and again to STOP CALLING.  This morning 8-17-11, same guy calls and when I again told him was not interested, he responded with these words: "What makes you think I am selling anything?  I'm gonna come to your home and KILL YOU!  I'm gonna roast you and eat you alive!"  I calmly responded that I was reporting him and hung up.  Call came from UNAVAILABLE and number 1 on my caller ID.

TO Everyone i am getting the same calls except coming in from 347 470 6316. it's a new york exchange. they claim to be from ICI and the mans names is Sam Cruiz. He calls my friends my work and my cell phone constantly and is reading off the same exact script some of you have reported. I don't know how to make this stop.

June.. Do tell more..I just recently met probably the same person on craig's list.. I am in Law Enforcement.. and depending on what you tell me I might be able to do something against her..

This person cannot give possitive information.

For weeks I have been receiving calls from the same man with a thick Middle Eastern accent obviously following a script that he has trouble reading in English. This time he calls himself "Jason Hyde". The last dozen times it was "John Gilmore". Says there is a legal case against me, my personal information has been lifted, cited the 4 digits of my social (yeah, he lifted the information), and cited a legal case number. Says he wants to help me out of my situation. What a crock. EVERYBODY FILE A COMPLAINT WITH PENNSYLVANIA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. THAT'S WHAT I DID. HERE IS AN ADDRESS FOR THESE CROOKS:  Internet Crime Investigations, 372 N. 16th Street, Philadelphia PA 19102. Be sure to put this address on the complaint. I will file another complaint with the PA Attorney General's office.

oh and i have also be receiving calls from a JESSICA TAYLOR, AND ALL OF HER OTHER SCAMMER FRIENDS FROM UNITED LEGAL SERVICES, LEGAL DEPT, TO NAME JUST A FEW.

A man called said hi sname was DAVID JOHNSON from INTERNET CRIME INTERVENTION, he stated that i had better  call him back because he had all my information and all my personal info, he said do not ignore the message if i did that he would have his law come to my work or my home and have me drug to the courthouse and then if i didnt return the call he wished me luck as this situation unfold on me  WTF is these peoples problems do they have nothing else better to do than HARRASS US CITIZENS  damn i am so tired of it i have reported this and the other 20 calls i get througout the day. I am sick of them. anyone else experiencing this crap?  If so you can report it to us secret service.

This number called my daughter's cell three times....of course she will not answer it becasue she has no idea who it is and she is a minor....Very harrassing.

A middle eastern man has been calling me for months telling me that there is  lawsuit with my 4 digit social in it.  He is now call me from 90-700-084-3376 number and leaving me these messages.

When did this happen?

I was starting to fall for them. Thanks to everyone that gave information about these so called legal department.

I recently met this girl on Craig list her name is Monica Harvey she said she is from Atlanta Giorgia , but she is currently in ikeja, Lagos Nigeria , she ask me for money for her hotel expenses because she is taking care if her sick mom Kimberly Harvey , she said she is at the pacific hospital Name: Dr samson Anderson,Hospital name and Address: 15 St julius street agege motor road lagos state Pacific hospital. Also she had ask me to sent her money under the hotel manager mike adewale at this address 15 ojodu lane ikeja Lagos 23401. Recently she said she was gonna get on a plane to come to the states to be with me . Later a got a call from the doctor a mentioned above telling me that she had an accident on her way to the airport. Just wanted to know if this info and names matches to others scams. Thanks for your help.

This people calling "ICI" or whatever name they make up are a fraud a scam .they steal info from online applications they are hackers pretending to be investigators or law inforcement ....DO NOT send them money or DO NOT let them scare you you dont owe them anything . REPORT the calls to Federal Trade Commission website FBI  Attorney General's office from your state . but do report it . the# this scammers call from is a Pa.area code but thats kinda strange too.... just fight back and dont be afraid !

I received a phone call from an Indian guy from a different number. When I tried to call the number back, I received a voice message stating that the number was not in service. The guy called me back like 30 minutes later trying to state that I didn't call him back. When I told him I had, he stated that he didn't know why I received this message.

Scary part is he knew my name and the last 4 of my social. I flat out told them I didn't know how they were legit. To which I got the response, "We have all of your contact information." Well, DUH!! They gave themselves away when they gave me this number, which I looked up. Thank God I did. I canceled my Visa/Debit card and called them back stating that I had not received a loan with Cash Advance and I would not be paying unless they could prove to me they were legit.

These people should be locked up permanently!

I just received a call from these people again. (The called about 2 months ago) I have filed a police report because they threatened me.

I have received several calls from 215-249-6007. A guy who calls himself Ross Taylor who happens to have a thick Indian accent, tells me that I have a 'legal action' against me and he wants to help me solve my problems.  I told him angrily that I do not want him to call back but he did anyway. The following Monday he left a threatening message about criminal charges is I do not call him back.
This and a few other calls from different numbers started after I applied on-line for a payday loan.
Somone is selling phone number lists and it must stop.  Oh, yeah, he also had the last 4 of my social.

I just got a call from 2152496007, and at first they said I had tooken out a loan of 300 dollars but then I called my bank and they never had a deposit from any loans posted to my account so then I called back and they asked me if I thought they were lying, and I just told them to take me to court and Ill be sure to take my bank statement and then to f*** off, and they kept calling and calling but didnt answer them.

I just received the same information from an Indian speaking guy. What was extremely creepy is that this guy gave me the last four digits of my social security number and said my complete name. How in the world can these people do this to us? Don't they know that this is extremely disturbing and can not be taken lightly, especially if they have our information on file to contact us on our cell phones and at our place of employment.
