Called at 8:55 p.m.  Lawrence Butler.  Let it go to answering machine.  Nothing.

Called at 8:45 this evening.  Caller ID read V318204340001217.  They left no message.  

Was informed by Atty Generals Office that these types of groups get sued when found to ensure majority of monies stay in PA and not taken out of state.  Also told me that these groups do little to help families mostly themselves as paid solicitors. In addition he said these people they represent are paid by the public and asked me if anyone was sending me money.  Made sense.

Called around noon on Saturday, 3-15, no message left on answering machine.  Must be a scam since a legitimate business or organization would leave a message, right?

Lawrence Butler just called me with this phone number. Let it go to the machine.. Left no message. Looks like he's trying to keep money for himself according to your guys messages

I let it go to the machine but I was told by local police here in my town that no Police organizations solicit over the phone, so just hang up if you do answer by accident

Nobody is going to nail them, because fundraising groups and charities are not subject to the Do Not Call List. Only companies trying to sell you goods and / or services are supposed to abide by the List.

Name came across as Lawrence Butler.

Just called here, No name just the number. They keep calling but we don't answer! Damn Fools!

Robo call and when phone rang 4 times would not leave message.  My guess is FOP - regarding charity for policemen.  I have been getting at least 10 calls a week from FOP from  at least six phone numbers.  Caller ID sometimes is "Not provided", "unknown name,unknown number", "PA call", etc.
Calls have from other states and from Chester Springs, PA. I keep records!

Same as SueD, except identified as Fraternal Order of Police.  I hung up and blocked the number.

Same here, they called and hung up when I picked up the phone. Yes we are unlisted, and on the do-not-call list, so yes this is yet another caller for whom those obstacles do not matter. Hope somebody nails them.

called and said I would be receiving solicitation in the mail for a charity that help's police officer's families, police memorials, etc. asked if I could commit to $15 or $20; told him things were tight here; asked if I could at least commit to $10; told him I would see when the mailing came; he tried to pin me down to an amount and acted like no wasn't an option; I wouldn't commit on the phone

same called here, and hung up. lawrence butler was the name.
