This is a scam

Said they were legal services and they were coming to arrest me tomorrow a.m. At my house. These are from out of the country with heavy accents.  I reported to the state and FCC..They called me saying the same thing about how they will arrest me tomorrow if I dont give them so and so money this is crazy we need to have these guys put to s stop for what they are doing !

im so glad I found this.  I just got this phone call yesterday and have been in my house scared to death a sheriff was coming and I have 2 kids not cool.  now I can relax knowing its a scam.  they even called back somehow and the actual sheriffs number came up but it was a foreigner.  everything happened the exact way you all said.  they were very rude and had me so upset and a nervous wreck. I cant believe people do this stuff now im just pissed!  who knows where they r really calling from.

I got the call yesterday and a voice mail saying his name was Ron Carter with a thick mid eastern accent! I was supposed to be picked up today, but here I am. This was tried on me once before and I asked for the docket and things that have been suggested, he did not like that! I also told him I called the sheriff's department and then he hung up.

This phone number called me and left a message saying I had a warrant out for my arrest and that law enforement was going to show up on my doorstep to arrest me in the morning from a police department that does not even exisit in my state. They are scammers frauds do not answer.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS FRAUD.

Alert:  They call from many different numbers.  Even the DEA website warns the public that this is happening regularly where they attempt to  extort moneys by saying pay a "fine."
My suggestion is to block these calls to hang up when they dial again.  Personally, like most people,  if I don't recognize the number I don't pick up anyway.  Google the number and see where it's located.  I've had them call from Jacksonville and New York and Miami.  Trust me, if the DEA wants your attention, they will find you at your home or place of employment and show ID and serve you with a warrant or do a person-to-person investigation.  Think, Good People, think.  
Special Agent David Martinez is another name used, as well as those mentioned above.

I just got a call today from a "Ron Carter" saying he was from Us Legal Services and that i was to be arrested at my address the following morning. The number he called from was 215-274-5384.  I called back and he asked me for my zip code and i said, "Well tell me why i am being arrested and i will tell you my zip code" this made him angry, as well as my laughing. He said, "Go ahead and laugh you won't be laughing in the morning." Then i get a call from a 653-878-9247 with some extremely vulgar language. I have never heard anything like it in my life. I then gt yet another call, all left on voice mail because i will not answer, saying he was officer Paqway from my local police department informing me that i will be arrested in the am. All i got to say is Bull----!!! Guess i will have to change my number.

I received a call from ""Richard Bell"" today.  It is a huge scam.  I personally like to keep calling them back.  Over and over again.  They get very angry with me.  More so when I said that they were a scam.  I was trying to find out why they were going to arrest me, but the best he could do is tell me to quit calling him and that I was harassing him.  Go figure.  He is the one who said that he was going to get me arrested.   They are fun to keep calling back.  They don't liked being on the other side of their harassment.

I am receiving threatening calls from richard bell and david hunt daily.  How do i get them to stop??  They are very rude and nasty and will not give me any information regarding the debt I supposedly owe.

Always get a call saying I owe debt to cash advance America's and I need to goto Walmart and give them the money in a card I tell them to go f@c@ off and then they explain I will be arrested if I don't comply they are a scam completely (215) 274-5384 that's the number now they are using.

the called me and said they had my whole ssn  and said they were coming to arrest me at my job on tomorrow , funny thing is i wont be there tomorrow

This number called me telling me I needed to get in touch with the law office of john smith at 9043527334 regarding a serious matter or I would be arrested and sent to jail. these people are very rude and try to scare you into giving them money

I got a call and left me a message saying that if I don't call them back that I would be arrested by the local police. So I called back and it went to voicemail. Then I called back again and I got the guy and he said my maiden name and social security number. Then tried to say that I didn't pay back a loan which I never got a loan from the people that they are trying to say I got it from. So I basically went off on them. They have got to be stopped! This is crazy!!

I got the very same call, but didn`t answer it......threatened that I will be arrested tomorrow AM by local sheriff.........Wanted me to call them if I wanted to know what it was about.  In broken English, he wished me luck with the situation, and told me God Bless......

I recieved a threatening call from Eric Matthews on East Bay street 2nd slot philadelphia pa 29404 which is not an address I was born and raised in Philly and there is no Bay street and the zip codes all begin with 190 or 191 ..  I cursed this b*****d out since well  hell I am apparently going to jail at 10:30 am EST tomorrow morning here in Wisconsin.  I was supposed to stand on my doorstep however I will be at work.  I will be calling the credit bureaus to see if there has been any activity on them.  This sob is not even on US land making these calls... talk about getting my Monday off to a s****y start... I could slap someone.

They left a message with my last four of SSN number and knew my address threating that the sheriffs will be at my door in the morning to arrest me.. This is crazy

This is a scam. For those posts stating their real...seriously? Please don't fall for the bogus scheme. I received calls like Lila and Sophie's owner. Same Guy, same firm ( U.S. legal firm) but different number.  The area code being Fla. Now he's in Philly. At one point he was in Cali (months ago).   If you don't cooperate, he gets real nasty and vulgar.  I've seen similar posts on other sites regarding this scam.  No one goes to jail over this crap.  He's most likely no located in the US.

Please note that this is not a real company or law firm.  I received a call from a "Richard Bell" with a very foreign accent a few minutes ago.  He stated that someone would be arresting me at my address ( note: an address that I have not lived at for years) tomorrow morming by the Sheriffs Department.  I was told if I wanted a reason for the arrest to call #215-274-5384 (phone # from Philadelphia PA).  Well "Richard Bell" you called me from #904-352-7334 in Jacksonville Florida last Friday March 1st and told me the same thing....and I know it was the same person.  So please read these posts and do not give in to these people.  It is obviously a scam and they have retrieved your information fraudulently.  Do not call back....do not send money...and most of all do not believe that someone can call you and tell you that you will be arrested the following day.

I got several calls and voicemails from a man claiming to be David Hunt saying I needed to pick up papers from the Stanford police department so I called the police department and they said they had nothing for me . I keep getting calls from him and today he left a voicemail saying they issued a warrant for my arrest under my social security number and address. He said at 10:36 on Febuary 21 I would be picked up at my house by sheriff. There was one time I lost signal and he called back saying I hung up on him. When I told Jim I talked to my local police department he said let me call them and see what's going on.

This David hunt called my wife with the same message saying there was an arrest warrant for my name and social security number and would be arrested the following morning at 0930 central time. Then he called my phone this morning wanting to talk to my wife who is not available. I called my wife and 3way the call back the guy got real rude. I read Mike's posting and had her ask for the case number, he then replied that the fax has not came in all the way to give her that information. She told the guy that she give her husband permission to speak on her behalf and the guy got real nasty on the phone. Yes this is a real debt collector with bad statics. My wife was trying to ask the guy to fax her information so she can take care of the matter and again the guy got rude and told her to be at her residence in the morning so she can be arrested and hung up the phone. He did not want her to have info onto taking care of the dept. The dept that he is refusing to was about 5 to 6 years ago and my wife totally forgot about it and don't mind taking care of it now; just the guy won't give her that option.

DO NOT give out any info....these ppl are foreigners who actually tell u they have signed affidavits saying u are ur social security number are involved in fraud by not paying back loans and if u dont western union them a certain amount of money bythe next day, ur local police dept will be there to arrest u and take u to jail where u will await a trial in front of a jury. i cried and kept telling them i hadnt taken a loan out and they told me thaey had evidence against me...he was very rude and tried to be scary.  after i knew it was fraud ( i contacted the police dept) i messed with them and told them i would get them the money and they gave me a name, city, state, and zip to western union it, then i was to call as soon as i got the money sent out and give them the mc (money control) number so they could access the funds and keep me outta jail.  Don't fall for this, pls.  I am super upset by this still...just the fact that they could upset me like they did.  I learned from the police dept that these matters are civil and they wouldnt take u to jail over it anyway.  any just be aware!

Same here i received the voice mail from David hunt,i googled this number and i found they are illegal debt collectors and i not answered the phone calls but later on i was get arrested.I hava bad experience they are real and if u want to verify then ask for the password,If they have the password ending with 377 then it means they are real.Many illegal debt collectors using this numbers. Beleive them they will gonna help you if u have any debts remaining.

Got the same messages as above on my voicemail. Caller very annoying and hard to understand.

i am also a victim lol he told me that i am to be arrested tomorrow at 10:30 am est time. I told him i couldnt understand him to let me speak to someone else in the department and he wouldnt. he said he is from US Legal services Law Firm. I looked it up to get a direct number and there was no listing for a such called place. Has anyone done anything about him? He needs to be in trouble for this.
