I received a similar phone call from a Laura Adams  representing Sterling & King  "law firm" claiming to be working  with Dallas County on my case. What CASE???????????

Wow. If anyone would post the name of this "law firm", I'd appreciate it. This absolutely psychotic woman with a thick accent just called a place of business and literally screamed threats, personal and otherwise, into the phone. She refused to identify herself.

I just received a very curt voice message from 215-279-8487.  He said his name was "Joe Santiago" with "Third United".  Stated: "Call me".  800-340-0163.

Sounded very suspicious and I will not be calling back.

Got a call from 1-215-279-8487, tha caller identified herself as Kim Black. She left a very rude mess, and threatened me with the court systems, I don't know what this is about. I've tried to get in touch with them and thay won't give out any information, so I guess I'll change my number. Good Luck everyone she's out and about.

I received a call from a man named Taylor he has left me threatening mssgs everyday. He left a mssg claiming to be a property appraisal company needed to do an investigation on my property. Also calls and says he is the fraternal order of police. This man has all these bogus company aliases. Him and his company need to be sued and close there business. This is poor business practice. We are reporting them to Better Business Bureau and will be contacting an attorney too. This harrassment needs to stop....

Man called our main business phone asking for an employee, that not only does not work here, the employee never existed.
We have a "fake name" we give to sales/research calls and it is also the name we get all of our free publications under.
This fake name is ridiculous, which also helps us determine if any calls coming in are official business in any capacity.
Do not be fooled by these folks, their business practices are not only illegal, they are also fraudulent.
Get any information on the callers and the company that you can, and report them.

David Wilson called us and presented himself as an attorney, which he's not (and by the way, that is illegal).  We called the attorney generals office to make a complaint, as well as contacted an attorney.  This guy was telling me that he was going to press criminal charges.  According to our attorney, this is civil only.  The most they can do is place a judgement against you...that's it!  Don't let these people threaten you or give in to their threats!!  Per my attorney's request, we were to not give him any bank account information, so please don't give that to these people!!  Protect yourself!!  There are no prisons in the U.S. for debt collection...these people will tell you anything to get your money.

Caller was asking if I was the owner of property where my tenants are renting. Found out he was drawing $250.00 a month out of my tenants bank account for several months on a debt they had 8 years ago on back rent.  My tenants are very naive and they allowed him to take the money.
After my conversation with him he called my tenants and told them he fixed there wagon and now your landlord knows what kind of people they are... This person should be in jail as a thief, impersonator, and a harassor of inosent people.
This guy, Taylor Jones is a bad person.He also asked what property in the house did the tenants own.

I rec calls from the same ppl who say they know i work for a fire department (which i never have) and that i am a lowlife that goes out partying on the weekends and does drugs... i was like ok who are you and why are you calling me.. the guy kept calling back and i asked to speak to his supervisor he finally hung up but he told me it was because of a bad check with a bank i had not used in 7 years i told him i never wrote a bad check but if there was one on the account i needed to know who wrote it and when because i needed to contact authorities. He then hung up. I called the bank and they have no record of bad checks or my old account going to collections. when i called the company they said they had no account on me.

Got a call today from an obvious smoker "Judy" who is investigating a "case". Whatever, I pay my bills and after what I've read today she won't be hearing from me. And if I start getting harassed, she can guarantee, I will be reporting her.

I am getting rude phone calls from this number as well, only the name they give me is "Nikki Bruno".  She does claim to have a case #, but is very abrupt in her messages (as I have yet to be available when she actually calls).  I have diligently paid all of my debts on time every month for over 3 years now, and made settlements with all of my previous creditors (divorce caused creditors to go nuts!)  so I know that whatever debt she is trying to collect is a complete lie.  I will nto be calling her back and have contined to document each time I get a call from her, just in case I ever need my attorney to straighten her out!  Thank you so much for this posting, I couldn't imagine what she wanted.

We are in the process of filing a law suit against this psycotic women, she went way to far when she made my wife cry. We offered them a settlement and all we got was yelled at and screamed at, she will not talk to you like a human being.

I got a phone call from 215-279-8487 they left a voice mail with another number to contact and a "case" number.  I called back and they told me they were a lawfirm and that I owed over $600 to a loan place. Luckily I had all of my statements available and the loan i received was for $150 for 4 month they took two payments of $90 which is like $720.  I told her I was not paying another cent and they could reimburse me for the monies they stole.  She got mad and said see you in court. Her name was KIM BLACK.  If you get a phone call like this ignore it. It is just another febile excuse to take money from hard workers.

The caller was Gina Weston  and since I was ignoring her calls. she called a neighbor and the neighbor came and gave me her phone. She threatened to call my neighbors again. This was for the balance of an account at the Academy at Ivy Ridge in Upstate NY which has been operating not licensed by the Dept. of Ed. as they claimed. We had to take a loan to pay for part of her stay there, now we are saddled with the loan, we are being threatened daily by this collector, and my daughter had to redo everything at another school. We are going to see a lawyer and I am going to make it a personal commitment to fight this injustice. The school has been identified as a contributor to certain politicians and is said to have some "clout". How can this David win against this Goliath! this lady is a real pain in the a** and she lies through her teeth. She claims to be an attorney and threatens anyone she can find whom may know you and threatens them as well. She faulsly portrays herself as an attorney and screams and yells threats. She will even do so to those whom may know you like family friends and even neighbors. She has messed with the wrong family. She has call my sister, mother-in-law and my friends. She hasn't tried to contact me and I have tried to contact her only to get yelled at, threatened and at no time will she ever say what the hell it is all about. We have started a lawsuit against her. She has committed no less than 5 felony counts we can prove via recordings we have taken and speaker phone witnesses as well as voice mails she has left all those listed above. The Fair Credit Reporting Act protects citizens from animals like this. There are a lot of law firms which will take your case for free against these offenders and if/when you win you can win up to $500K in settlements. We don't care about the money, we want her head on a pike! This lady needs to be removed from society and we aim to do just that. Wish us luck... not that we need it.

Okay....I got a call just yesterday from a man named stephen josephs at this number. HE however messed up big time, he cliamed he was with the civil investigation's department of my local sheriff's office! He was down right rude, and started yelling threats at me. Once I got ugly right back with him and cursed him out he hung up on me. After several hours of stressing over this (he told me if I didn't pay over $1,200 by 5pm yesterday that an investigator would come to my house and take everything I own and sell it at public auction!) I called the local sheriff's office~they never heard of him! IF anyone has started a law suite against this particular company PLEASE let me know...I would LOVE to help fry these people! I know when I called back after hours the recorded message just says "thank you for calling corperate offices" Will find out more later on today.

This company has a total of 45 complaints against them, all this information is on the Better Business Bureau website. I know there is something legally that can be done to this woman.

yes these people keep calling, they are NOT anyone from Law Enforcement or the Court... They give bogus case numbers that are not listed on any websites in the Los Angeles Superior Court, nor has there been any documentation received in the mail rgarding these bogus claims... I work closely with the Court and these people are telemarketers who work for a Collection Agency... They call from the 215-279-8487 and leave a call back number of 1-1800 289-1433.. So SAD. They should be STOPPED Creditor Harrassment is against the law.

I have received several calls for various numbers from this collection agency.  They have contacted several of my neighbors as well.  I recently saw a Dateline episode where they exposed a collection agency that used illegal business practices and the company was shut down shortly after that.  Maybe this is a route to take.  If anyone knows of a class action suit against the company.  Please post the contact information or an email address to get further information.
