This number and 717-204-0027 appear to be from the same outfit.

Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for them to sell the info to identity thefts {either knowingly or not}. If you're having issues, watch your credit & your bank account very closely. Not to scare you, or add to your problems, but your name & cell number are all that's needed to find the rest of your VERY personal info.

If you're unfamiliar with how to spell things properly, the same could be said. Seriously, we don't have enough problems without people using these forums purely to insult others?

"This is Jennifer from credit card services."  II think she is a repayment for "Rachel" who was a voice for a long-running caller ID theft ring.  Number on caller ID shows up as Davis, California.  Do not call back and press 3--that is a way for them to find out your number is a "live one..."

I tried calling this number back from a land line and it said the call could not go through!  I have been called twice all ready and I am very irritated!

I ignore ID's I don't know and let it go to machine. Now they cal ALL hours. I picked up once and said "who is this" and no one answered. So I said "take me off your list, I have reported you" and still, no word from them but you could hear background noise.
I've been reporting them every time they call for weeks and weeks now.

I'm Deaf and my number is a private one, part of a relay system for the Deaf. I rarely get nuisance calls, but this number got through despite my never giving it out except to close family and few friends.  Apparently they are using a machine that dials numbers in sequence and records live hits, so it's not necessarily true that they harvested numbers from any business you may have dealt with.

Message to Stupid Police: the broken English that you criticized may have come from a Deaf person who may have been denied learning sign language as a small child. This results in a severe language deprivation such as you have seen. Have a heart.

Got this call several times in last few days as well.  Makes no sense.  How do we stop this annoyance?

I got a call from the number yesterday. Called it back this morning & did a check on Internet Survey Group. I'm sure glad I did. I would never give out any info like you folks say they're asking for, but if we are all getting the calls and it seems it's been going on for more than a month, how come the authorities have yet to stop these calls? I have a private, unlisted number. Where did they get my number?

Called my cell yesterday at 3:25 PM.  Started in about IRS payment problems.  Hung up.  It was a recording

Have a pay as you go phone that is only used when in the US (rarely), have not given the number to anyone but family. Did not answer and glad I looked it up.

This is just another scam,just don't answer it or put number on your block list,however they have more than one number they use,Bottom line,if you don't know the number don't answer it.

The number belongs to a company called:THE INTERNET SURVEY GROUP.  I just called it using *67.

I got a phone call today at 11:21am. on May 17, 2011 and said that i need to file taxes. Which I barly made about 3ooo last year. I'm not suppose to file tax because i made so little.

If you get call from this #215-383-9731.It is fake they just want to get your info. If it was really the IRS they suppose to send you a letter from the government the department of IRS if their is any problem.

I see comments here about people being on the do not call list and it not being effective.

understand that the do not call list is for legal companies doing legal marketing, scammers could care less about that list and will use an entire range of phone numbers.

Think about it, for everyone of of us that actually research the number, there are 10 more that don't, odds are that 2 out of those 10, provided some form of information to these people, where is their motivation to stop?

I got a call from this number and when i called it back, it said they had called me in response to a survey i'd filled out...although i dont recall filling out a survey...

Received auto promotional call from this number.  Caller ID = REV PATH.  Marketing IRS assistance.  Reverse look-up indicated land line Philadelphia, PA

Scam trying to steal your identity.  Called saying the IRS could attack my wages and what not.  It instructs you to press "3" to remove your name from the call list.

Got a recorded call from this number.  Started to mention something about "If the IRS audits you ..."  I hung up.

Just got it a minute ago. CID said "Rev path". I didnt answer it.

You are wrong...it is not an online survey group!!! They are not getting bent out of shape over nothing. I called the FBI and was told that it is a scam from outside of the country. They are using "magic jack" to have a phone number for this country. That is why they can't do anything about them. They want your information! They have been doing various scams including the online survey, an IRS debt, and even a credit black list. I have called them back each time just to see what they say and at one time the guy lost his accent and told me if I give them $2000 they'll stop calling and if I don't they will hurt me and my family and again our government can't do a thing. Nice isn't it???

Just got called from this number offering help in dealing with the IRS. I immediately asked to speak to the supervisor and was told that there was none and the line went dead.  Tried to all the number back and got "The Internet Survey Group"

For me, it was a call about internet survey I'd done, or so the recording said. I just went through the steps and removed my number, so we'll see if they call again. I didn't get any real person, and I didn't answer the call, I called back.
