Nice try Mr. Hayworth. Come on this site and write 2 reviews using the same grammar, for instance the letter "u" in place of you. The court records speak for themselves. If you were legit then why did you never show up for those court hearings and fight? Ok then, don't try to regain your good name under false pretenses like false reviews. Maybe 1 out of 10 jobs, you are legit but you are a scammer 90% of the time and your day will come when criminal charges will be brought upon you.

U know what he did work for me too , he built me a beautiful deck June 2010. All work was done according to our agreement which was in writing. I checked his lice cease and insurance info before I hired him and it all checked out.  I suggest before u people start ruining someone's good name u do your homework before u hire someone. I did and I had no problems  with the work he did or the manner in which he did it . I will definitely call him again in the future to help with preserving my deck as needed

Terry has done work for me on three different occasions. I've never had a problem with him or his work. All his work is done in a professional manner and also I have had a contract drafted by him each time. I've read many grievances on sites like this and I'll tell u I believe 75% of what I read is untrue. This is my opinion from work he has done in the past.

I suggest you guys file your suits class action style...and make it criminal as well...as this is theft, and in such an amount, grand larceny. then set up an appointment with him, to do some work, instead, serve him with papers...if he fails to show on a criminal warrant, they will pick him up...money lost, but justice served

Well, it has been months since I worked with Terry and the remains of the job are still at my home.  Door entrances were ruined and massive amounts of trash left behind.  I reached out twice - got one broken appointment and an ingored second attempt.  

Of note - this was directly against our contract, which clearly detailed that all equipment and mess would be removed.  We are not talking about minor trash here - hundreds of pounds of contractor waste.

I seen this guys ad on craigslist and emailed him a few times for an estimate. he didnt bother to email me back so I called him up one day and we set up a date and all for him to come over and he never showed. His loss cause I found another contractor. But just outta curiousity I googled his phone # and wow look what I found. glad he stood me up.

Doris, the first thing to do is go ahead and file the complaint. I did not threaten him but after he threatened me on 12/16/09 I did warn him he would go to jail if he attempted to follow thru on his threats. He then promised either my window or my money. After about 3 weeks of excuses on why he cannot make it he just showed up last week with my money.

The one gentleman,John, that is suing Terry did call Terry and let him know that after he wins the judgement, he will pursue criminal charges and he could be in jail soon. Oh John is a lawyer! How stupid is Terry to scam a lawyer? Anyway Terry made an arrangement to pay John back but John gave him a timeline and if it isn't all paid back, he will pursue his case in small claims court. Another thing you can do is call Terry and let him know (if he don't pick up, leave a message) that you know about all the other complaints because it is all over the internet..that's what John told him..lol. Maybe that is why Terry did finally pay me back.

Take pictures of the damage. Do you have a reciept? I know Terry is not good for giving receipts but you can still file without it. Also call Channel 6 consumer complaint line. They will be able to help. I spoke to one lady last week and she wanted me to file a criminal complaint above all else being as Terry did threaten me. Then after I did that they would help me get my story out there about Terry. But criminal complaints cost money and being as I did get my money back from him, I figure why bother with the criminal complaint. I am sure Channel 6 will talk with you and if they interview you for TV you can remain anoynomous. I think something getting on TV about him will bring more victims forward and more chance of a criminal investigation. Look thru his cases at small claims court, call John and speak with him, his contact info is in his case evidence against Terry.

I totally understand you need you money back. He scammed alot more money from you than me. But I have a baby here and $150 goes a long way in diapers and wipes, believe me. I am sure you worked hard for your money and you don't deserve for some greedy, cold hearted scammer to just take it and leave you with all that damage that will cost more money to fix.

Terry:  What happened that he gave you your money back?  Did you threaten him with a complaint?  I really need my money back($450.00).  I still have wires hanging out of my wall.  I simply can't afford at this time to get another electrician to do the work.  I am not comfortable with the electrical work they did and am afraid to use my washer and dryer for fear that they might blow the electric in my house.  I use the electric sparingly.

I am going down today to file a complaint.  I know that if I win, I will still not get my money back through the courts unless I pursue the process through the Sheriff's Office -- they'll just place a lien on his property.

Terry gave me my $150 back today! I truly did not think he ever would, not without some kind of court action anyway. I guess $150 is easier to payback then the amounts of some of the judgements against him. Guess he figured this wasn't worth getting sued over. I really was about to file on Jan 7 at small claims court. Glad I don't have to now let alone put out more money over this guy that I may not have ever seen.

I am happy to get my money back but just the aggravation of this whole ordeal is something not easily forgotten. I feel that people should be warned about Terry or Terrence or Terrance Hayworth. He was very apologetic after giving me my money, about his profain language and his threats. I have to question his sincerity. I hope others will read these complaints and exercise extreme caution when dealing with this man..better to not deal with him at all.

Taking this guy to court really did me no good. Kinda hard to execute a judgement when the man has no assets. Municipal website where you can search all of Terry's cases where he has been sued. There are alot of them. The only thing is Terry never shows up, he is a coward and so the judge obviously rules in favor of the plantiff...he would even if Terry did show up. Terry should be arrested! I even called channel 6 consumer action line and told them about this guy, also made a complaint with the State Attorney General...small clims court is next. I did talk to John on the phone because on the website with the court cases, most cases have the evidence and we can see it. One page has John's number so I called and we spoke and he suggested filing the claim and making a complaint with the DA'S office, because Terry did threaten me with vandalism and bodily harm. I was scammed by Terry also just last week.  He told me the job would be $250.00 to run a new electrical wire.  They tore out my kitchen ceiling, punched large holes in my walls and left a switch box with the wires hanging out.  The cost went to $450.00.  Terry will not come back as he promised citing all kinds of excuses.  He was suppose back today -- haven't heard from him.  I will be filing a civil complain against him on Monday; it should really be a criminal complaint

I currently have a civil action against him for the same thing. Hearing is scheduled for January 11,2010 in Municipal Court in Phila. I also intend to turn the matter over to the Attorney General's office for criminal prosecution.

I looked him up on Phila small claims court online..he has been sued about 15 times.One of the plantiffs is lawyer and I spoke to him and he suggests filing the claim and contacting the DA's office because this guy Terry is very close to getting arrested, they need more people to come forward. I followed this post from "ripped off." I am a 50 year old disabled grandmom in Mayfair. This man is very dangerous. He beat me with a metal object after we had a dispute. Police were called. Even though I had marks- the police suggested I go down 1134 S. 11th Street to file a private criminal complaint.

I have been scammed by this guy too! If only I had done my research sooner. Just yesterday he threatened to throw a window I paid for but he has yet to deliver, thru my front windows. At first he is very polite but because I have been calling him a few times a week, after over 2 months passed since I gave him $ for this window, he became very irrate and verbally abusive and threatened vandalism to my home.
Well after that I did some investigating and this guy has a criminal record and has been sued by several people. He changes his numbers frequently. Posts several ads a day on Craigslist using many different names as the guy above wrote. This dude is a serious scammer. I found this guy on craigslist to do some concrete work, got an estimate, gave him a deposit and he has yet to do the work and his name is Terry and won't call me back. Said he would give me a receipt but never came back. Dude don't even have a real license, I called the contractors association and found this out today. I am reporting him for fraud as I am sure there are other victims out there and one guy was just arrested for the same thing here in PA a few months ago.
