Don't bother or waste time. While I'm sure there are some reputable people on Craigslist. It's best to go with Angie's List and not schmucks like him who claim they have certifications and don't. I do a background check on every contractor I might potentially do business with because there were many times I was conned and lost money. Not only does he want you to be responsible for obtaining your own parts but pay him for labor and friggin' gas money. And he doesn't even have a professional van or truck. I don't have time or the physical strength to purchase and carry my own hot water heater. If that's the case then I might as well install it my d@mn self or call the gas company.

Harassing phone calls everyday, several times a day. Don't trust your name and # to someone who advertises on Craigslist even if it is a seemingly innocent business ad unless they have verifiable references and location.
