We are a business and this is rather frustrating...constant calls and once we answer they hang up.  We receive at least 10 to 12 calls a day from this phone number

Wanted me to change my electric supplier.

When I finally answered (after daily calls with no message left) I was told this message is recorded. He then proceded  to tell me he could save me money on my energy bill. I told him I was on the "do not call list" and he said it did not apply to them. I told him I was recording the message too for the FCC. He just kept going with his sales pitch. I told him to remove my number. He just kept talking about his 8.9 cents per KW price. He was still talking when I told him he was so stupid he would not even make good organ donor material. Bunch of bottom feeding crooks!

Got a call from these thieves on my cell phone which is listed on the DNC.  Of course they are not supposed to call cell phones to begin with, but why should they care, it is not their minutes?  Since my cell number has not been given to the local electric company, wonder how they are calling me on it.  Well maybe I'll just sue them for $500 in small claims court for violating the TCPA.

Same as the other comments. My boss never wants to take the calls but blowing them off doesn't work because they call back frequently, often multiple times in the same day. I got the go-ahead to tell them we are not interested and to take us off the list next time they call but we will see how that goes....

A Direct Energy sales rep

A Direct Energy sales rep. Sounded legit, but some internet research revealed that they don't have a very good reputation for honest dealings and certainly don't have the best rates either.
