This is not a telemarketer, it was the Illinois Department of Revenue calling about an error with my tax return. The call is automated, so you won't get anywhere calling back that number, but if you call 1 800 732-8866 you'll eventually get a person. There was an actual issue that needed to be resolved in my case, so be aware that if you don't do anything about it and there's a penalty involved, they'll turn it over to collections, and then you'll be getting THOSE phone calls.

keeps calling doesnt leave message

It's the Illinois Department of Revenue. It's an automated call. I just received 10 calls in 4 hours, most one right after another, from all these numbers (some more than once):

I picked up on the 6638 number when it just called and it was an automated message telling me to call the department of revenue and a number to call. I'm hoping the automated calls will stop now that I've answered.

Missed the call, no message

received a call from the 6642 number. No message, missed the call. I haven't been to Illinois since I was about 10, dont know why they would be calling????

Just called the Illinois Dept of Revenue. They did in fact have my phone number; however; the name did not match (they had my number with someone elses name). They have advised that I may receive a couple more residual calls, but after a week or two the calls will stop.
