Iv pretty much noticed that my husband gets this when he gets picture mail from 7023748866 or 7024722911... does anybody else show these numbers on their bill? I have no idea who they are but its non stop almost 24-7 to these to numbers!!!

So what do we all have in common besides its all our husbands or men & mostly tmobile!?!

It's now July 2012 and I just received 6 texts from shis spammer ... their number has changed slightly, now its 222 228 5608 from Mauritania in Africe. I just talked w/ T-Mobile and they will block them from my phone.
The spammer must have ulterior motives, but neither the person at T-Mobile or I could decide why. Conceivably they will try to institute their own charge to my phone bill for some made-up reason related to the spam, but hopefully that will be blocked

today i got a call from a number 002224446 and my phone showed it as Mauritania, i picked up the phone but nobody answered and the phone was disconnected within 2 seconds................i'm getting the blank calls on my land line as well.............what the hell is going on :S :S

This person sent my 12 yr old son several X rated pictures. I am unable to call the #, it won't go through but I did text him with a warning and T-mobile is blocking his #. Are his only "victims" T mobile users?

All I can tell you is the people @ T-Mobile customer assistance are interested in helping to solve the problem.  They ahve a company line to greet you with.  It's "if you have unlimited text it does not cost you anything" when confronted withn the fact that not all of their customers have unlimited text messaging they then resort to the statement that this is not their fault.  I reminded them that they are in fact providing the conduit for these people to steal their clients personal data they seemed totally unconcerned and starting telling me they could assure me that all of their data is secure and they have not been hacked.

You decide if you think your personal information is safe guarded by a company that tells you to get unlimited texting to prevent losses from hacks into their system.

I did some research on the number itself and  when you view your my t-mobile acount it says from Mauritania. that a citie in africa so dint understand how is this so but one find i have notice that t-mobile is not a good carrier for support issues that cant stop the messages at all with having to shut your whole service down i should have stayed with sprint  they could shut that number down i think we should all just dropp t-mobile

just talk to t-mobile and they are aware of this but haven't figured it out i told him that they should be able to block unwanted calls and text messaging i no that sprint is garbage but i could call them and say  want all pc text messages stop and they could do it

T-mobile want block the number they could but wont they are not advance at all when it come to issues like this

I have not got the number or text on my phone but my husband has 16 text from that number. We do have tmobile both not a really cheap phone. So what can u do to stop getting them? They r all text no pictures I didnt see what they said so I dont know. What to do?

I did not actually receive text messages from this number but they appeared on my bill, 12 text messages from 222-222-2208, Mauritania.  I think it's not from facebook signing up because I don't have a facebook account at this time.

A representative from T-Mobile gave me an option to block a number you don't want to receive from.
In your phone, go to phonebook, select block list then follow the instructions.  I don't know if this will work for me because I did not actually receive the text messages into my phone but 12 text messages from 222-222-2208 appeared on my phone bill and they charged my account.
I googled this place Mauritania, also the number, and was surprised, it's not only me having issue with this number but many.  So, I hope this provider should do something about this and have concern to their customers.

So do you all think T MOBILE has a part in this $$$  I have 4 phones two have un-limited texts but they billed me for approx 150 text messages??   twenty of these are the Mauritania {2222222208} which did not show on one of the phones they charged the 20 calls??      T MOBILE knows what is happening ???

My husband also gets this txtes but I also know that he browses the web for porn. So if your fiance or husband is getting them is because somehow they are registering their cell number for this b.s.  In case you didn't noticed is mostly women complaining bout their men getting this "unfortunate" texts
